Answer:	Someone other than myself opened the package. however there were no complaints regarding the pakage.

Answer:	Ths is not a 'problem', just simple laws of physics at work. These filters work based on a gravity (pressure) system. The less water there is in the reservoir, the less pressure. That is why it will filter slower when water level is lower. Also, performance varies with different water sources and plumbing conditions. If you have older (read:rusty) plumbing or very hard water, then the filter will clog sooner.

Answer:	You would need a slide bar with a mount for a standard handheld shower. Frankly, I would look for a dedicated unit that is sold with the shower head. I think you'll get much more durability and longevity out of that sort of setup than a cobbled-together solution.
