Answer:	My Grohe wand has a quick disconnect on it... so it won't work, but you may be able to find or make an adaptor. Mine has a Tee at the stub, not as convenient but it works fine. Don't forget to throw away the included washer and buy a correct size washer.

Answer:	Flow control is actually the best feature of this valve. I bought it exactly for that reason not even suspecting the action would be as silky smooth as it is throughout the whole variable range from full flow down to zero (not even a drip) over a 90 degrees turn of the lever. The slide lever feels much better than the twist type does. What i especially like is how quiet the water goes through the valve whihc probably because its a (nylon?) closure with the turn axis parellel to the water flow rather than twist with axis perpendicular, therefore the water goes mostly srtriaght rather than having to turn around that bend and generating the usual sorts of turbulence vaccum noise ive come to expect from shower valves. yes you can hear it when its cranked down to low but still far quieter than my old valves. i used both the pivot style as well as what ill call the 'plunger' type where you push a little post through to stop the flow. im so glad i bought this particular item, i used those old cruddy values for almost twenty years not knowing what i was missing. I've moved those over to the 'guest' shower now but heck, you only live once so i will probably replace them with this one. As far as full flow rate, I'm in California where plumbing comes 2.5gpm and so took those flow restrictors off and use these type valves instead, which allows conservation to less than 2.5gpm but am able to open up for full flow whenever needed. And at full flow, i will say its far more than plenty. feels like more flow than any other shower valve ive used and those valves have smaller flow channels this one looks about almost twice the opening size since its has two sides (like butterfly wings) that open up, a design that i suspect might have somethign to do with cancelling out turnbulence noise as well.. my water pressure reads 99 psi.

Answer:	I had the same problem. My shower head uses NPT threads---apparently common practice in North America (https://homeguides.sfgate.com/shower-head-thread-size-84705.html). The straight "G" threads on this valve did not fit, and I returned the valve. Why is this simple task so hard?

Answer:	I've had all versions of this, NONE is "all metal" as some here are saying. IN all models of this lever, that moving part -- which is most likely to fail since you move it with use is -- PLASTIC. Also the total shut off at this valve is NOT recommended and is against code for a reason. The same reason why no showerhead has a 100% shutoff, since this can a) damage your main shower mixing valve (the one in your wall) by creating too much backwards pressure and b) allow hot water into you cold water supply. This is why no full cut off is allowed by code, and why you need anti siphon.

Answer:	It produces water at an intermediate temp when connected to hotter and colder water supplies. Do not expect it to shut off flow if there is not sufficient cold water available to maintain your selected output temp.

Answer:	I'm not sure as mine is being used with a instanious hot water heater @ 40psiHowever when I got it I did blow thu it with just my mouth to check its operation, if it needs any pressure it's not much if any.On the down side you will have to learn pipe sizes and threads as it says 1/2 inch it's not American NPT. I found the correct fit to be 1/2" British Standard Straight Thread.(BSST) its like a bolt thread and is not tapered. The actual seal is made with a rubber washer and not by mashing threads togeather with pipe dope as in American NPT.If using it with gravity pressure you might get away with NPT fittings and a lot of teflon tape, or using the flex connectors one would use for sink faucet connection. But under pressure they just leaked.Adapters from BSST to NPT can be found on line for around $8us each.My local hardware didn't have anything in their brass fittings selection, however before I was ready to leave he went back with my valve in hand and found 1/2" straight thread is also used on the high pressure hydraulic hoses on some tractors. Answer:	There are two buttons on top of the head which control the water pressure. One is for a stronger pressure and the other returns it to regular

Answer:	you would not need the screws, unless you want to screw the valve to the supporting boards; the plate is affixed with a rubber ring you slide over the valve cover first then the plate will fit in.

Question:	I am having trouble getting the faceplate on? The rubber seal keeps slipping off when I slip it over the cartridge, Any ideas how to fix this
Answer:	I don't recall having any problems with the rubber seal and I am not sure how you are slipping it over the cartridge. With that said, you could try rotating the faceplate over the cartridge as you are pushing it on and apply pressure around the seal so it doesn't fall off. You could also try lubricating the seal so it slips on easier. I am also wondering if the seal is the correct size. I wish you luck.

When you say you cannot get the cap back on, do you mean the one you screw off to fill the bottles or the cap you use to pump them up to use them?. If it is the Pump Cap, yes it will sit up if you have pumped it up to pressurise the bottle, if that happens I just push it down and hold it for a short while and it remains down, it is pressure holding it up. We have had our first pair for a year & a half and not a problem, the second set we bought recently we keep in our Caravan (Travel Trailer), and just love them. Cheers, Thomas J.
