The shower filter components are arranged in such a way as not to impede the flow of water and create excess pressure before the filter. But if you have a lot of sediments, you may need to backwash often to avoid a decrease in water flow. Now, please try to open the shower filter housing, take out the cartridges for backwashing for a few minutes, and then install it back into the shower filter housing, pls note that three o-rings must be restored.Besides, there's a detailed instruction inside the box. Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. Activated carbon filters can remove low levels of sulfur sediment, manganese, and iron. However, maintenance and replacement of filter systems are very high because sulfur, iron, manganese and other suspended materials in the water soon clog the filter. So, while it may reduce the iron, it will not completely eliminate it and may require more frequent filter changes.
Question:	Does this shower head have really good water pressure? My hair is abnormally thick and I can’t stand hard water + how long it takes to wash my hair
Answer:	No home filters are rated to take out heavy metals, the manufacturers don't want to get sued if you have excessive contamination that they can't completely remove. You should try the filter for three days, then take a water sample and send it to the lab to see how many contaminants are left.

Answer:	This is not a gravity filter. This filter works by water pressure forcing it through various chambers inside , I’m sure it will work even if its installed at any angle. That being said I won’t recommend this , ive had it for just about 6 months now and every time I use it rusty brown water comes out then clears , EVERY TIME . I complained to the company, the customer service rep says the same thing occurs in the one that she has in her own house. They are aware of this issue but will not do anything about it.

2. Screw the 3-way water diverter to the shower arm(notice the direction);
3. Using Teflon tape to wrap around, and screwing the square shower head to the 3-way water diverter;

Answer:	Mine came with one filter that was inside the shower head already and fell out when I was working with the shower head. It is rather small, about an inch and a half in diameter,, white. You may have it and not recognize it . Check the ads for replacement filters and see if you have one inside your shower head.
