Answer:	Not sure if this will not work for a slight rise drain cover unless its less than ⅛" high and smaller than 3 ¼" square otherwise the rubber around it will not catch any hair.

Answer:	Thank you for contacting Danco. For model # 88820 strainer Danco only offers 1 strainer in packaging.
Question:	how can I clean this strainer? I can pull the hair out, but it is largely clogged with soap scum, I guess. yuck
Answer:	I use this strainer and I clean it in a two-step process. I wet it and wipe it out with dry tissue until the bulk of the debris is gone. I then put it in place and spray it with Chlorox Clean-up or a mold killing spray. In those cases when this doesn't appear to get enough of the stuff off of it I use a discarded toothbrush marked "DIRTY" to give it a good scrubbing after applying the bleach or cleaner. In my experience, I believe that the worst culprit is not soam scum, but a myriad of hair conditioners, body creams, and oils that congeal in a water-impervious mess. I highly recommend this strainer however especially for people who live iin old houses with slow drains.
Question:	What is the diameter of the actual basket that would go into the sink? I need something for a standard bathroom sink, and the diameter is 1 inch
Answer:	The diameter at the bottom seems to be 1 inch. It is also approximately 1 inch deep from top to bottom. My strainer is 2 inch diameter across the top not 2 1/2" as shown in the description. This strainer bounced around in my sink when I ran water but my hole was about 1 3/4 inch. The strainer is VERY lightweight! I found the product utterly useless but maybe you will get a snug fit from it.
Question:	Would it fit a 1 3/4 in. Inner diameter drain
Answer:	The outer rim diameter is 2 7/8 inch. The wire mesh extends horizontally inward with a width of 7/8 inch. The descending wire mesh pocket is about 1 1/4 inch in diameter. So yes, it would fit into a hole that is 1 3/4 inch. But it might slide around a bit. On 2.75-inch drain, there is a depression of that size in the porcelain or fiberglass. The tub mesh fits into that depression. It cannot slide like it might on a smaller opening.

Question:	I "cook" in my bathroom and wonder if this would work in the bathroom sink when I'm washing dishes to keep food particles from going down the drain
Answer:	I'm sure it would. However the center is higher than the outside so it won't be flat at the drain. But the holes are plenty small enough that food would not go through. You may want to check the the size of your sink drain to make sure the center of this item will set down in the drain opening.
Question:	How do you install
Answer:	There is no real installation required. You just place the device on top of your drain. Gravity and water pressure will generally hold it in place.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the basket
Answer:	The top of the basket is 1 13/16th inches across. The bottom of the basket is 1 1/8th inches across. The whole thing stay put with the wider flange holding it in place. The holes in the bottom are very small, so the hairs need to be emptied frequently or you'll think you drain is "slow." My drain has wider than usual cross beams in it so they also deter drainage. I have short hair & empty the basket at least every other shower if not every one. My plumber was very complementary of my find & wanted to know where I'd gotten it. He was here for a very stopped up kitchen sink!
Question:	I have an old pop up drain - will this catcher work with pop up drains? If so, how is it installed
Answer:	it will work if the plug or stopper is removable.the hair catcher is recessed into the drain which is why the stopper or plug must be removed.because they hair catcher is recess in falls into the drain partially, this is why the hair catcher stays in place so nicely.basically what it comes down to is if you're stopper or plug is removable this hair catcher will most likely work with your old drain.

Answer:	I don't see why you couldn't use it for funnel cake. Their is a rubber opening that hangs down. When you pull the handle it pushes a piece of plastic over to shut off the opening. I might question if it would come out too fast but it you just don't let the handle all the way you should be fine.

Answer:	It's all plastic, except for the actual spigot, which is made of rubber.

Answer:	We love this kitchen tool. It’s easy to use, easy to clean and helps make perfect pancakes and waffles. It doesn’t work too well to mix batter in, although I have done so. Best to mix batter in another bowl and then pour into the batter dispenser. Top rack dishwasher safe for the body, and hand wash for the plug.

Question:	Is this designed for a sink or tub drain? Will it fit a standard 1" sink drain
Answer:	It is advertised to have WIFI, but it effectively does NOT. It requires that the operator get a specialized account charging ridiculous fees per month just to use the WIFI feature in an extremely limited and cumbersome way. So no, it does not have WIFI.
