Answer:	It has a rubber edge. I only use it when I wash my hair. I have a little round brush that I sweep over the floor and across this hair catcher. There IS hair on top that I pick up we this brush. I slide it Amanda sometimes see some hair on the drain as well but it stops a lot of hair. I wasn't thinking and got the round one when I have a square drain but it fits inside the trim do it works

Question:	Are you able to buy the removal tool by itself? My installers threw it out with the box and I can't get the grid off
Answer:	Mine did not "snap-on" per say... it just laid in the space perfectly. I have had mine for several years and it looks as good as it did when I purchased it. My old one was made of a thicker pvc style plastic material that came with the house when I bought it new. I think the drains for showers are fairly standard in size, but you may want to question the manufacturer. Are you sure the "drain" was made by Mirolin? I've not heard of this company. If it's just the name on your current drain cover, then I would guess this particular Moen cover would work. From my research when I was shopping for a replacement, the drains sizes are fairly standard. Good luck!

Answer:	Ha! The easiest way to clean it is with a tweezer. The little pointy things are very close together(which is why it catches the hair so good).
Question:	can it work with pop-up bath tub drains
Answer:	A dog could certainly move it depending on how active it is, but if it isn't touched it stays in place. It doesn't float up and float away like some do.
Question:	How do you clean these? I'm having the worst time getting lint and hair off of these
Answer:	This drain protector is much heavier than the flimsy ones you get at the big box stores. They in my opinion those nasty would have a hard time, but I would be checking for a hole in my pipe. They shouldn't be coming up like that.
Question:	does it have suction to keep it in place or does it slide around
Answer:	The dimensions shown are 4.5x4.5x2. It fits over my Kohler pop-up drain and it is working quite well at catching hair.
Question:	Can this product be placed upside down to go over a pop-up tub drain
Answer:	I tried both and liked this one better. The tubshroom worked but wouldn't clean and quickly got too gross to use. This one worked well for us, i.e. stays in place, catches all the hair, lets water through and cleans up to like new. Maybe it has to do with sink or tub shape?

Question:	Will this catch short hair from men or is this mostly for long women’s hair
Answer:	It’s nothing special. I would think any hook like tool would allow you to remove it. Harbor freight has a pick and hook set for 2 bucks. I’ve also got one of those dental scraper tools from dollar tree that I think would work if you have one.

Answer:	I don't see why this drain couldn't be used outdoors. I world treat it with kid gloves, I do, my drain is in a guestroom shower. I'm not sure how durable the black finish is. I appreciate the hair catch basket on this drain.

Answer:	I think it can.
Question:	How often do you need to replace this
Answer:	I have not, but ours is more under the shower head so it would have to be straight down and our rain shower head hits about a foot back. I think any style with the trap under the grate will have that sound no matter the thickness due to the open space underneath.
