Answer:	I really don’t think it’s necessary to be splined. The rubber coil is made large enough that it won’t come out of the channel especially when the rubber is inserted with the roller tool.

Answer:	Haven't broken yet. The old screen I replaced had plastic corners and it was the metal sides that buckled, not the plastic corners.

Answer:	I used Velcro tape (each portion of the velcro has a sticky backing) and the less velcro the better. Use just enough Velcro to hold the screen in place but screen can still be easily removed when needed.

Answer:	Yes, you can cut the frame to size, but be very careful with measuring it. Also, note that you should use a metal saw blade when cutting it, if you use tin snips you'll crush the frame and you'll be unable to use it.

Answer:	Spline size depends on your window frame - not the screen. Take a piece of the old spline to the hardware store and buy a small roll of spline first. If it’s the right size for your frame, buy more spline via amazon and save a lot of $$.

Answer:	No more privacy. You can hardly see the screen. We did use it to build a screened in patio and it looks wonderful though.

Answer:	Yes. I cut mine to custom fit it to the top of my aquarium.

Answer:	This is made from extruded aluminum. A good power miter saw or other power cutoff saw would be best. Cut it slowly so you get a good clean cut. I'm talking about a saw similar to the Bosch CM10GD Compact Miter Saw. I'm not endorsing that saw in particular, just as an example.

Question:	I bought this to use in terrariums, but it has a very strong odor that does not wash out. Is it toxic to plants
Answer:	You should have no problem using this in your terrarium. As for the odor i did not have an issue with odor. When I replaced the screen on my door i was outside and did not notice any odor at all. If you are really concerned contact the manufacturer directly and ask if it will affect plants. Good luck.

Answer:	It’s just a plain screen. So you might need something else to attach it like Velcro or tape. Otherwise there’s already other ready made insect screens that might have what you need.
