Answer:	The rope will eventually need to be replaced so glue may not be so good. We usually tape the end of the rope with masking tape to prevent it from fraying then use a cable staple (u-shaped nail) to hold it in place on the post.

Answer:	Yes it is scratchy. However in the ottoman I made, I cushioned the seat, so the rope was only wrapped around the circumference of the tire. So in the arrangement I used it is not bothersome. I reckon some varnish would help to keep down the stray fibers that make it scratchy.

Answer:	No. This is paracord, not rope.
Question:	Does it unravel when you cut it
Answer:	Short answer is yes. The “solid braid” claim is a lie: It’s not solid braid by any definition. This is kernmantel line, like paracord. It has a braided jacket containing non-woven linear strands. When you cut it the outer jacket wants to unravel a bit and the cut end fluffs out. There are fixes for this. Many people melt the cut ends with a lighter. Personally, I don’t like the hard blob of plastic this leaves so I usually soak the end about an inch inch or so with water based urethane varnish. The urethane stiffens the cord a little bit and it prevents fraying. When it’s dry I make a clean cut to get rid of the previously frayed end.

Answer:	It’s constructed the same as paracord, feels the same.

Answer:	There’s no noticeable stretch. It’s paracord, with a braid cover and parallel strands inside that resist stretch. At a guess it’s good for several hundred pounds, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s good for more than that, but I advise you not to use it for human life support or any other safety-critical application.

Answer:	Thanks for your question! One of the key attributes of all mil-spec paracord is the amount of stretch it has. The military requires it to have 30%+ stretch, so if you were to use this cord for a swing, it would soon stretch to the ground. Another thing to think about is the working load limit. With all ropes, chains, cords, etc., there is a "tensile strength" and a "working load limit". Generally speaking, the working load limit of any cordage is about 20%-25% of the tensile strength. If you wanted to use this cord for a swing, you would definitely want to triple-braid it, but the stretch alone will cause more problems than anything. Another option is our "Ultra-Cord". It's made of UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) and only has about 3% stretch which is extremely low... it also has a 5,000lb breaking strength, so one section on each side of the swing would be more than enough. Answer:	Hi Craig, Yes... but only as a special order so we make sure and get it right. There is sort of a long and complicated answer for this question but give me a call if you really want a continuous 1000 footer. That said; most of our 1000 footers are continuous and the shortest section is never less than 300Ft. and IF there are 2 sections, they are NEVER spliced together. All our other sizes are Guaranteed Continuous. We find it to be very rare that someone actually needs 1000Ft. continuous but do our best to accommodate them as needed. Answer:	The longer the rope, the harder the workout.
Question:	Is the whole rope 30 feet or when there is a "U" shape, it is 30 feet on each side, or is it 15 feet when in a "U" shape
Answer:	The entire rope is 30' long, so when you fold and attach it, you have 15' for each hand. You should also attach it in two places about 6" apart, because the ropes tend to get a little gnarled up down near where they're attached, because they're close together at that point, but not necessary

Answer:	If you wrap it around a tree, you may experience some wear from chaffing. Also, you will shorten the length of the rope, depending on the diameter of the tree. You may want to consider using a chain, or other similar item, to wrap around the tree and then attach the rope to the chain.

For falling or descending, yes the same rope can be used by backing it up with a prusik with more dynamic rope that is dynamic. Also, always keep a static rope above you and always tight. A fall turns into a no shock swinging situation. You just need to know about backing ropes up and proper climbing and descending.

Answer:	Probably, but not a good choice to hang a picture long-term as, under load, over time, this type of material will stretch and weaken. For hanging pictures prefer wire rope.

Answer:	I don't know. I used mine for trussing a chicken and other kitchen one time uses. But I would say, if the rosary is to be for just use as a decorative necklace, then yes. However, if the rosary will be used by a devout person, then no because fraying and eventually breakage might occur, so best to go with something more durable.
