Answer:	When you say 7 stairs, do you mean 7 steps? I have found that it does not work well when navigating stairwells. I would think an appliance dolly woudl work better in this case.

Answer:	Not so hot, unless you have very wide stairs and move them up sideways. Basically its a roughly 3-inch wide strap that attaches to a shoulder harness, so you carry the weight down through your torso and legs (big muscles) rather than just your arms, which are used to help guide the object. Problem with narrow objects like flat screen TVs (even in their original boxes) is that the strap can slip sideways a couple inches as you're negotiating stairs or turns. Not a big deal when the object is 2 feet wide, like a washing machine, but could be a real problem with long narrow boxes.

Answer:	They are very similar to seat belts, especially in design. I am not quite sure if they are made from the same material but they feel the same.

Answer:	Steel. These are good for their size and strength. Used them for moving and held 500 lbs securely for 800 miles.
