Answer:	I looked at mine, I don't believe you can. The way the strap and handle mount on the mounting plate. I don't see any way to change the hassle to other side.

Answer:	I mounted the straps to the corner brackets (where the legs meet the top rail) my rack is also from harbor freight. I did have to drill holes in the bracket.

Question:	Can I wrap this around a heavy skid of about 1000 lbs and hoist the skid up with the forks through the straps on top
Answer:	The unit I bought is wired the same way. I've heard that neutral-fused circuits have been witnessed in some European electronic devices, but haven't traced out the circuit to see if there could be any legitimate reason behind their theory. Can't rule out the possibility that the product assembler is tasking unsupervised. I believe that would be sub-standard per US standards. My heat gun has functioned flawlessly up to this point.

Answer:	I don't think so. Looking through the manual I don't see any way to change the temperature.Since all the component data sheets have the temperature profile in Celsius, I generally don't find the need for Fahrenheit.

Answer:	Please provide more explanation in your first question, if you mean that if they have the same suction channel the answer is yes, you have to detach the absorber in order to put the pickup tool into the suction channel. For the second question, the absorber is NOT detachable from the soldering iron.

Answer:	The range on the soldering iron is 200C-480C (392F-896F), so it should be suitable for smaller devices for which you would use a 15 watt pencil iron. Just double check to make sure the temperature your pencil iron operates at is within that range and you should be good to go.

Answer:	The stability and any sharp edges would be my main concern. Another factor is what you're hoisting and the danger of injury if something fails. The strap has a 10,000 lbs breaking strength but a torn strap would be my fear.

Not certain on marine grade but, my last set of Keeper straps were still working great after 7+ years in the bed of my truck (but they mysteriously disapeared). Keeper makes quality products with thick sewn strap material and quality metal in the ratchet. They are the only straps I will buy and, with a quick spray of WD40 every couple of months, they should last a long time in a marine application.
