Answer:	No...I see vent holes at the very top of the cell cap. Hydrogen will ultimately escape thru small vents just below the yellow cover. Degassing should never occur back thru the fill line.

Answer:	You would want to measure from the center of one cell opening to the center of the next one. If it is 2.7", then yes it would. It sounds like you have 8 volt batteries though so would want a different kit.

It's very shinny smooth/polished grey, almost similar to chrome plating in feel. very nice quality. Not sure how durable finish is as I only used it twice as a bike lock, but seems better than paint.

Answer:	Google's probably the best bet there. Take the model number (930 I think) and search for master 930 cores. That said, the core in this one is way low on security despite the lock's beefy looks.

Answer:	I used it on a 22 ft. Penske truck that I rented. I felt very confident about leaving it unattended when needed, but the diameter is 3/8, so it might be too large for your needs.

Answer:	I don't think they have any "security pins" but they do advertise "5-pin tumbler cylinder for added security and more than 9,000 key changes for maximum pick resistance" plus changeable cylinders. It is one very heavy duty lock and I'm impressed with it. Best to check with the manufacturer about any security pins.

Answer:	This is a ABUS specific cylinder core. It is NOT a Schlage brand core but does have the common C key way.
