FITMENT: To ensure proper fit measure the hasp/latch on your trailer door. Size dimensions are illustrated in the provided schematic. Also CHECK the depth of the hole on the hasp. If the center of the hole is more than 13/16 (20mm) from the edge the pin will not engage. The depth on the lock would be too shallow. Many times latches are poorly manufactured and the holes are carelessly placed off center, thus creating fitment issues. You can modify the hasp if you are inclined.

Answer:	It will but I'm not sure as to what difficulty. I was told that 3M's "general purpose adhesive remover" makes removal easy and without damage to the mating surface but I haven't tried it. The adhesive pads are thin which puts the lock pads close to the mating surface so trying to pry the locks off without damage to the mating surface could prove to be difficult. Applying 3M's product is supposed to make the pads loose enough to pull off after about 10 minutes. Good luck.

Answer:	Just tried this. After you've opened the lock, to lock it again you can either: - Scramble the numbers, then close the lock. Or - Hold the lock closed and change the code. The lock will not engage if you simply try to close it without changing the code.

Answer:	Yes, every lock can be picked. This is a combination lock, so they could guess 10,000 times, or use a shim. If they are that dedicated, they will get in. Consider this a strong deterrent.

Answer:	Rodney, I don't know if it's shim proof, but I know one thing.......it's a piece of junk. Mine fell apart in less than one year. Take a look at "American Locks" or "Sesame" brand. You'll be happy you did.
Question:	Is the shackle fairly hack-proof? I have two good combo locks, with one problem -- a long shackle I am sure has been breached. Thanks
Answer:	I use the lock on a backyard shed . The design is such that you could not use a "bolt cutter" to hack it. Can the combination you set be hacked? Depends on how good the "Safe Cracker/Hacker" is with tumblers. Keep in mind that Locks are used to keep honest people honest.

Answer:	You can use the same key for all. However ,,,the little key sticks sometimes in lock., Also I took a trip and TSA had unlocked my suitcase (note was inside) and locked it back up with there key. When I got to my destination my key wouldn't open the lock. So I had to saw the lock off. Be careful of product.
