Answer:	I have had this problem with my work truck masterlocksfor years. Salt water from the road binds them up. WD-40 and Pb blaster helped but they always failed. Then I found a real solution. I believe it’s called lock dry lube made by 3 in 1. They sell it at lowes. It works like a dream. Now I spray any lock with it that is going to outside. It’s a miracle spray. It does hold unlike other stuff. I get a full year out of it before it’s needed again. So that’s your solution.

Question:	will it work on a yetti cooler
Answer:	Yetti coolers are on my wish list, so I don't know. The cable is plastic coated to about 3/16" diameter and length is as claimed. If you have holes larger than 3/16", it should work. I use on game camera with a 3/16" slot for a strap and it is tight - but works great. Buy several - you'll find them good to secure anything in back of truck or ATV/UTV. The larger size (3/8") is even more security where you can get it thru a hole or around something. The 3/16" can be cut with a cable cutter or good diagonal cutter, if someone is determined to take it off.
Question:	Would this lock work to secure against theft the Tailgater satallite
Answer:	This was not a good product in any way shape or form. I purchased three of them for kayaks, and within a short period of time I could not get the key to turn. When one key broke off in the lock, all it took was a limb trimmer to cut it off. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Answer:	The Master Lock 72DPF 15’ x 3/8dia. Cable is not rated for weight suspension. Although the cable is heavy duty and has great strength, the end loops are not designed for suspended weight. The cable should only be used for passive security where no stress force is applied.

Question:	Can the cable be shortened in any way? I only need it to put through two zippered compartments that are on the front of my suitcase
Answer:	Short answer, no...the locks themselves have pretty short cables. Extension cords are included, but not necessary for the most part. I used my lock to secure my suitcase/backpack zippers, like you're saying, and the extension to secure additional bags to my backpack when needed. I think the locks are perfect size to secure 2 zippered compartments, but no the locks cannot be shortened. Side note: though they claim to be TSA approved, mine was cut and/or confiscated from my bags while traveling. However, I was traveling internationally and it might've been another country's airport that took it. And I'd still fully recommend this lock! It has held up even through a month on a sailboat and lots of sea water penetrating the lock!

Question:	Where in central ohio can I get replacement keys made for my cable locks
Answer:	Call master lock customer service. I broke one of mine and was able to call and get them to send me another one, free of charge. You will need the number that is engraved on the key.
Question:	How many keys in the 3 pack
Answer:	Each cable lock has a set of 2 keys. The locks are keyed separately - that is, key for cable lock 1 won’t open lock 2 or 3, etc.
Question:	how does the key fit in the lock? im having a hard time figuring it out. no instructions. jane a
Answer:	The key may not fit all of the locks in the 3 different locks. The set I got any one key only fit one of the locks. The key that does fit the lock will be hard to get it to fit. I returned everything back to Amazon.
Question:	how many keys come in the 3 pack? And are they all keyed alike
Answer:	I think it was 2 keys per lock.

Question:	What are the dimensions of the loop on the 7 ft cable? Wondering if I can get this through scupper holes on my kayak. Thanks
Answer:	The loop will compress to 1-1/2". The collar near the loop is 1" diameter.
Question:	Cyclist would use these if they were lighter, and would fit in their seat bag, we need 1/8 flexible vinyl coated 4 - 6 foot long. with scratch protect
Answer:	It's easy enough for someone to cut through this 1/2" cable, using a light-weight "scratch-free" 1/8" cable to lock a bike is simply daring someone to steal it.
Question:	can i put the hoops onto a 30mm bolt
Answer:	You should have no problem putting the hoops over a 30mm bolt.
Question:	is the loop on the end large enough to put the other end through
Answer:	Yes it is... that was a critical point for me when I purchased it and I'm happy to say it does! Very happy with this product.
