Question:	I'm confused...does this "combo" come with the post? Name implies it does but description sounds like it doesn't. I appreciate any help
Answer:	This is one solid plastic piece that has a hole in the bottom that you slide onto a wood post. We had to cut some off of our post to get it on there. It comes with bolts that you use to hold the plastic to the post so it will not come off. We really like ours.
Question:	Are the dimensions listed here correct? It says 22 x 12.4 x 15.2 inches. Does it mean it's only 15 inches tall? Need ground installation
Answer:	No it is a normal post that requires a 4 x 4 post in the ground with the rubbermail post over the 4x4. It is 22" long 12.4 wide and the 15.2 is the mailbox and paper holder. Great box

Answer:	It really all depends on how heavy you make it (my family packed it full)...Pulling it in the sand is not difficult, you will be dragging it through dry sand anyways, but once you drag it back out and spray it off it is like new. Over time though the metal in between the wheels will start to rust, but that is in a few years of taking it to the beach. It is perfect for putting in between chairs...the handle on it is perfect as well height wise, I am tall and it does not hurt my back.

Answer:	You can buy the mounting bracket but it has recessed slots on the bottom for mounting it on a 6" dimensional board (1x6 or 2x6) and also a slot for 4" lumber (2x4 or 4x4). There are holes in the sides of the slots to drive screws into the board. Mounting on regular lumber takes literally 5 minutes.

Answer:	Renea, you will need to buy a post. It does not come with. The mailbox stem fits around a square wodd post and bolts to it to form a good sturdy mailbox. You will have about 4-8" of exposed post from ground level depnding on the grade. Hope this helps. I think it is a really nice mailbox.

Answer:	I found that mine wobbled front to back quite a bit. The solution I came up with was I took a piece of 5/8”ply wood cut to the same width as the post (in this case it was 3-9/16” x 18” and screwed it to back of the post and slid the mailbox and sheath back over the post and viola! No more wobble. Of course,I screwed the sheath back to the post.

Answer:	Yes, you can paint another color. The post is plastic so make sure to use a paint specifically designed for plastic.

Answer:	While I cannot answer why the description is written that way, I can confirm that I received a very sturdy PVC post and an aluminum box.

Answer:	Either way will work. I built up a 4x4 post using two 5/4 deck boards that I screwed to the post. That way, there was no play in the post. I cut the new plastic post to the correct height (the USPS has the correct height on their website), slipped it over the 4x4 post and secured it with two of the left over white screws. That way I avoided using stone, cement, setup time, etc.

Question:	I plan on mounting it by the sides. How wide are the side rail of the mailbox, what is the with of the side rails
Answer:	I don't know exactly how many years it will hold up, but have had ours about a year and it still looks and functions like new. Easy to assemble but you need a 50 pound bag of sand to put in the base to stabilize it.
Question:	Just received mine and all good except flag assembly. The diagram is poorly drawn and cant tell how flag keeper installs. Anybody have a real diagram

Answer:	Yes, silica can be used as a substitute for play sand to weight the Simplay3 Dig-Free Easy Up Classic Mailbox.
Question:	From the picture, the paint looks very dull compared to all other black mailboxes. Is it just the picture or is this a very flat black? Thanks
Answer:	I don't know if it is large or medium, but the inside dimensions are 7" wide, 8" high, and 19" deep.

Question:	Does the newspaper tube have rear door
Answer:	My mail box is on a wide post sraight up and then at a 90degree angle another same size post comes out the front. Thoses posts at approx 3 and 3/4 inch wide. not counting the added width of the door in front, the mail box (if I measured right) is about 9.5 inches. So the box is nicely centered and attached to the post. I like it very much.....nice size......enjoy.........

Answer:	No there is no magnet, but there is a roller at the top of the door that closes it securely.
Question:	What are the interior dimensions
Answer:	It is flat. It's a great mailbox, it does not fade or tarnish. The color stays true. It is one of the best mailboxes made and I should know because I am a mail carrier.
