Answer:	there is a rubber-like bottom. it holds our door slightly open on a tile floor just fine, but probably would not stand up to pressure from an automatic door closer or a strong bit of wind.

Answer:	Yes it's surely hold on tile thanks to the rubbery bottom. You can always force it by slide it with your foot. I don't know what you mean the spring loaded door but this one is quite heavy duty. It can hold up to very heavy wooden door. Hope this helps. My only problem with it is the height of my door. Otherwise, it's perfect.

After some time, the little plastic things stick to the painted surface and would remove the paint if I tried to move them - so, in my opinion, they would probably not be suitable for separating glass from wood furniture. For that purpose, I would try to find ones made of glass - although, nothing may work right over time.

Answer:	We use our mat on a deck but it is under a portico. We mainly want the sand, pebbles or snow in winter to "drain" off before going into the house. The holes drain water well but if it's on a solid deck, the water will have no where to go. Our deck has some space between the boards so that helps but because the mat is under a portico, it works well for us.
