Answer:	the auger will dig at least a foot down into medium or softer soils. Since it is driven by a drill motor, the user will have the drill motor harm them if it hits something solid. The auger is not the problem. can you wrestle the driver to keep the auger digging? You could use a large drill motor with a stabilizer handle. Also the digging tip is just a pointed piece of metal. it doesn't have a sharp tooth like a post hole digger. Also the diameter is probably not good to fit a 4x4 into the hole. You could use a manual post hole digger to be effective.

Answer:	Length of the V920 piston body is 11.25 inches. This includes the pin that holds it to the door but not the shaft that extends and contracts as the door opens and closes. Don't know what the V1020WH length is.

Answer:	The only adjustment is the screw at the right end of the cylinder for slow to fast speed closing. Other, more expensive closers will have more adjustments.

Answer:	As of lately with these types of devices, they are not recognized as a switch and cannot be controlled as such. You used to be able to say, hey google turn on or turn off the door, then create a routine that turns on when you say open. Well anyway that doesnt work in GH or with Alexa. What you have to do is create a scene, one for each open and closed state, and use those in voice command routines in both Google Home and Alexa

Answer:	Currently, Nexx Garage does not work with Samsung Smartthing. However, it is part of the product road map. This feature should be available sometime late 2018.

Answer:	There is a misunderstanding for multiple door control. The mobile app can control multiple garage doors, but the device will only control 1 garage door. You will need only 1 account for your mobile app to control multiple Nexx Garage devices, but only 1 Nexx Garage device will control only 1 garage door opener.

Answer:	Yes, make sure you get an installer that pays attention to details and is local. The problem with Amazon Home Services is, they don't always use local contractors, my guy came from around 45 miles away. Best to contact local installer yourself.

You have to connect to the garage door opener via wifi on your phone and then go to the web address stated in the instructions (can't remember off hand). From there it was pretty simple. Took me a while to figure it out. I just hadn't read far enough.

Answer:	I don't think you can! The control arm actually passes over the top of the door when opened. There are other devices that do mount to the hinged side, spring control type that might work for your purpose.

Answer:	I believe India. It’s nice quality and durable though, I used it on my storm door after having to replace the lousy telescoping closers two or three times a year (windy location).

Answer:	I used it in a commercial use but it would work well in commercial or residential. Easy to install. Looks nice.

Answer:	I would say 30" give or take because it will allow my screen door to open fully but not so wide it slams against the house.

Question:	How man hinges will you need for a 2'-6" hollow core door
Answer:	No, it is not adjustable at all. It closes the door very firmly (ours don’t “slam” - but they do close completely). We have a bunch of dogs and cats, so they’re perfect for us - to keep those guys out of rooms we don’t want them in!
Question:	Can I see a photo of this installed
Answer:	The hinge is designed to close the door automatically. If you had a door wedge you could prop the door open but there is no adjustment for keeping it open.
Question:	Is there a smaller version of this for cupboard doors
Answer:	This is a regular door hinge. It can be made to either open a door or close a door but not hold a door in a middle point. It's not a saloon door hinge. If you want that, search for double action spring hinge.
Question:	No need for longer hinge pin
Answer:	It will work on any door with standard mortises for hinges (just order the correct size based on you application). If you have a metal frame and jam screen door, it may not fit. It mounts like a standard hinge inside a door jam mortise. The other thing is these are pretty strong, so if you trying to use on a light weight screen door, one hinge should be plenty.
Question:	Can the spring be stretched or adjusted so it just gently closes but won’t slam and latch
Answer:	Yes they can be used to close the door all the way. The package shows a chart where it says even for the lightest door 2 spring hinges are needed but they recommend all hinges be replaced with spring hinges. I replaced 2 of my 3 hinges and the door does close but I would recommend replacing all of them so that each hing can be set to a lower tension and the door can close without slamming.

Question:	Ok so somebody already asked if this would work with an ez breeze 4 vent cabanna door, but all they said was "don't know". why do people do that
Answer:	I purchased my Larson Storm Door at Lowes. I was unable to find the replace part within the store. I then asked the storm door salesman and he indicated to me Lowes can order the replacement kit from Larson. In additon, I believe you can go directly to the Larson web site and order parts.
Question:	Is the shaft round or square
Answer:	If you are referring to the plastic piece that holds the closer to the door frame, yes it is sold separate. I order 4 or 5 at a time because when the wind catches the door and flings it open usually the plastic piece breaks.
Question:	This “almost” closes the door. Are there any adjustments to help it close the door completely
Answer:	The actual mechanism, long metal tube, is 13.7 in long. The hardware that connects the mechanism to the door is 2" long and one that adheres to the wall is 3" long. The tub is a little over 1" wide. So, I am unsure where the 2x4x4 comes in. But, I did notice this when I ordered it as well. It must be an error on their side.
Question:	What makes it "Heavy Duty
Answer:	As long as the deminsos of the pump are the same. It should work. It a universal pump, not manufacturer specific. Hope this helps.

Question:	How do I fix opening force? None of the adjustments help. Also tried moving arm away from hinge
Answer:	As long as the door is latched when closed, your door will not blow open even if it is not "locked" What keeps the door "shut" is the latch, not the door closer.
Question:	Can it be installed outdoors? Is it resistent to the rain and sun
Answer:	This door closer is designed for mainly commercial doors. I do not think a storm door is heavy enough to use this door closer.
Question:	Will this prevent the door from slamming shut in a strong wind
Answer:	This is an excellent quality ADA door closer. For a door closer to qualify as ADA compliant, an interior door can not have an opening force of more than 5 pounds. To guarantee an interior door with a closer can maintain 5 pounds or less opening force, requires a door closer that will adjust down to Size #1. Exterior - Fire doors must have the minimum opening force allowed by your local fire code, usually 7.5 lbs.

Answer:	Mine has a hole pattern of 12 x 3/4"

Regular Installation

Suitable for regular installation. This is the most common installation method, used in over 90% of installations. The door closer is attached to the door and the arm connects to the top jamb (architrave). Using this installation method, the door closer will 'pull' the door closed.

Parallel Installation

The FS-7600 is also suitable for parallel installation.

The door closer is attached to door, the parallel plate is connected to the top of the door frame

Utilising the parallel plate this method is used for 'push' side installations.

Top Jamb Installation

The FS-7600 door closer is also suitable for installation on the top jamb (architrave) installation. The door closer body is mounted above the door, the connecting arm is placed underneath the door closer and connects to the top of the door. Installed on the 'push' side of the door.

Question:	Is this 4 complete hinges or is it 2 complete hinges? In other words, is it two hinges, with each half of a hinge is a piece and that's the 4 pieces
Answer:	My Larson storm door was about 14 years when I replaced the door handle mechanism about three years ago.It worked fine for me on my door. Can't say if that success would be universal.
