| Answer: | I just received my order of 5 containers #00042 and they are 1 pint -- but only if you fill to the very top of the container. I try not to fill much beyond the bottom of the top "rim." The bottom of the top rim is about 3/4" below the very top of the container and the "safe spot" for filling for things that are going to go into the freezer (since water expands). I just filled one to the bottom of that rim and it held exactly 1 1/2" cups, which is short of one pint by 1/2 cup. I like these very much! They are perfect for freezing single servings. I also have an equal number of the next size up, which are about 2 cups up to the "fill line" at the bottom of that top rim. I hope that helps! These are great little containers. Not much to look at, but I have had them over 5 years now and they are everything I want in a freezer container for smaller servings. I also recently purchased the quart size. I have not had a chance to measure the quart size fill capacity up to the bottom of the rim, but my guess is that it will be 4 oz. -- or 1/2 cup -- short of a true quart. One thing I plan to use them for is ice cream, which tends to come in flimsy and awkward containers that do not seal well or have a shape and size that does not easily fit into my freezer. I do not know if they have half gallon versions of this container, but if they do I'll probably get those too! |

But now that you've got me thinking about this, I will create a contact on my phone named "Impromptu Guest" and use my cell phone number. Then I will use the Amazon Key app to create a code for Impromptu Guest. Then, if I ever need to give someone quick access, I can give them the impromptu guest code and I will have a record of the door being unlocked and relocked. I'm doing this now. Menu>Guests>Add Guest>Enter Manually (I'm skipping adding the contact to my phone). "Impromptu Guest" for full name and my cell for mobile phone, click Done. The default schedule is "Always" (you probably want that). A default random generated Keypad Code is shown (you can use that or create your own). Click Next. App says "Saving", then it suggests sharing the code with Impromptu via a text message; choices are "Continue" or "Later". Choose later. Done! Now you've got a code ready to give to an unplanned guest on a moments notice! And, after your guest uses the code, you can easily change the code for your next impromptu guest! I like it!
