I can't speak for how well that would work. She also uses the corded Bose QuietComfort 25 with her IPod. Again the sound is great. She does not use Bluetooth with her IPhone or IPod. Operation Instructions in Single Unlock Mode

1.Initialization:

After installing the battery, hold on the RESET button (passing a small hard object through the hole in the front of the lock cylinder to press the reset button). When you hear a "Di" sounds, release the hand. The lock beeps: "Di, Di, Di, Di, Di” (five short beeps). At this point, the lock is initialized (clear lock record) state, in Single Mode.

2.Set Master Card:

After initializing, the first card (RFID Card / Tag) is swiped in the sensing area of the lock body. After a sound ("Di-Di") is made, the card becomes a Master Card. Master card can be used to unlock the cabinet door, add or delete the user card.

3.Set User Card:

Swipe the management card (After reading successfully, the lock beeps "Di", in an unlocked state, new user card can be configured), put new card on the sensing area untill you hear a short beep which means the setting is successful. The user card can be setted continuously (up to 11 pcs).

Ultraloq doesn’t cover the deadbolt hole completely if you would like replace your existing deadbolt and knob / lever. However, there is a quick solution. What most customers do is a swap - install Ultraloq on the top hole and put the existing deadbolt on the lower hole. If there is no existing deadbolt or you want to remove your deadbolt, most of them will get this accessory in Lowes or Home Depot to cover the top or lower hole, depending on which hole you install Ultraloq. Answer:	You can only remove them all, then go through the reprogramming of the prints that you want to keep. Hold the admin fingerprint down for 10secs (lock will unlock almost instantly, blue light will flash at 5sec, then red light at 10secs). Remove the admin print and then touch it again to wipe all prints, then start all over.
Question:	How can you open the lock if battery has died
Answer:	I don't think so but it gives you plenty of time to charge it before it dies (mine has not died ever so I can't say if it opens). It flashes red when you open it when the battery is low. Mine lasted weeks before I charged it.

Answer:	The app will notify you as soon as your batteries get low. The lock will also show a red battery icon for a few weeks before your batteries die. If the batteries die completely, you simply need to hold a 9V battery up to the terminals located below the keypad to energize the lock and then enter your pin code to get inside and change the batteries.

Answer:	Yes. You can set it up to unlock when u arrive and lock when you leave.

Answer:	Yes, the cylinder can be removed or replaced. However, not a great idea because it runs on batteries and when the battery dies, you would essentially be locked out without an alternative entry method.
Question:	When used with homekit, can it take advantage of geofencing and prompt me to unlock it when i arrive home, similar to the myq garage door opener
Answer:	The Echo Plus uses the Zigbee protocol. This particular Kwikset 910 uses the Z-wave protocol, so it has a Z-Wave module installed in it and won't link directly to the Echo Plus hub. To be able to control your lock directly via the Echo Plus hub, you would need to instead purchase a Kwikset 910 that comes with a Zigbee module installed.

Answer:	Haven’t had to change batteries yet, installed couple months ago. On our previous house we changed the batteries around 8 month’s, it beeped after locking when batteries were low

Answer:	Of course yes, the auto-lock feature automatically re-locks your doors, by default, in 30s after unlocking. But if you wanna disable the auto-lock function, you can change it in just simple 4 steps. Before operation, you need to make sure the lock is unlocked and the door is opened, then (1) enter your existing programming code; (2) Press TACKLIFE button, you will hear one beep; (3) Press 5; (4) Press TACKLIFE button again. You will hear two beeps if the change successed, otherwise, three beeps will indicate the chage in unsuccessful.

Question:	What would i need for 2 doors
Answer:	Without the separate Connect device, the August lock relies on Bluetooth for communications. That means that you have to be within Bluetooth range to use the August app to lock/unlock the door. If you want the lock to use WiFi for communication, you need the Connect device. WiFi is needed to control the August lock remotely (out of Bluetooth range) including using Alexa or other devices to control the lock.
Question:	Is it more reliable than the 2nd Gen? My 2G version failed all the time, replaced twice under warranty, and still not perfect
Answer:	It’s a lot better than the 2G. I’ve had it for 4 months and I’ve had no problems whatsoever. The remote access is instant as compared to the 2G which took like 30-60 seconds. I definitely recommend it
Question:	Once i come home and am in the door, does it lock automatically while i'm at home? every time i'm just near the back door will it unlock by mistake
Answer:	The phone app tries to unlock the door automatically just once every time you have been several hundred yards away from your home.

Answer:	Hello, We're currently available and compatible with most locks in North America.
Question:	Will this lock work without a wifi connection
Answer:	To clarify the previous answer. With no Wifi you WOULDN'T be able to control it remotely. Only close-in using the bluetooth connection
Question:	Is this compatible with kwikset downtown single cylinder deadbolt
Answer:	Yes, most of the Kwikset single cylinder deadbolts work fine. I had an old Kwikset lock and it worked fine with my August smart locks of the 2nd and now 4th generations. I believe that August has a list of tested locks on their website. but many other Kwitset lock, not listed there, work as well.
Question:	My front door is sticky and when it's only partially closed the deadbolt can be sticky. Will this be a problem
Answer:	Yes, it will be in my experience. You need to solve it first. I invited a carpenter who solved this problem for my front door before installing the August smart lock.
