Answer:	I haven't measured the temperature (I'm not sure how you would do that at home), but they get what I would call "comfortably warm." I've been using them as needed for a long time and have never experienced them as feeling too hot. Also, I disagree with the person who said don't wear them to bed. I do that quite often and find it very helpful: helps to relax your muscles, as well as feeling the comfort of the heat. Also, I find they generally last longer than 8 hours.
