Answer:	This happened once to me. Step 1- Turn off THE LAMP not the bulb. Step 2- Remove the bulb Step 3- Make sure you do not have similar bulbs around with remote function because this can cause issues Step 4- Place bulb in Step 5- Turn on LAMP Step 6- Light bulb should turn on ***Again, DO NOT USE AROUND OTHER REMOTE BULBS OR EVEN NEAR TV IR REMOTES BECAUSE THIS WILL MAKE THE BULB GO WACKY*** If this fails, return it or contact manufacture. Answer:	you can control them at the same time if you position the remote correctly but it's a bit of a pain.. every once and a while one changes and the other wont... on the remote you cycle through colors that are not red green or blue. therefore if one changes and the other doesnt it is hard to cycle back to correct color without the light you want to stay the same not changing as well...

Answer:	It's 3/32" (almost 1/8"). Too thick for most of my doors. The 2 problems are the clearance between the top of the door and the door frame, and the clearance between the back of the door and the door stop. If either is less than 1/8", it won't work without notching or sanding down the interfering door part. Or you could obviously leave the door open a little.
