Answer:	I have had mine on my oversized chair and love seat since I received them so not sure about when I got them but they are about 1/8 inch now. I don’t believe they have compressed much but I cannot say for sure as my furniture is heavier. I will say they work great; my furniture no longer slides around on my hard floors.

Question:	What is the length of the 2 hook bar & the other options
Answer:	The arms are hollow tubes. I just recently installed these about 2 weeks ago and one already broke away from the welded bracket that the long arm slides into. It needs a stronger weld unless you plan on only hanging a few items on them... if not for that, they would of been a great hanger. I'll be calling customer service for a replacement :(

Answer:	I think it would depend on what you have it screwed into. Mine is screwed into oak and will hold all you can hang on it.

Answer:	I think you could use them for purses. Keep in mind you'd have to remove the purses hung in front to get to the ones you hang in back. I wouldn't overload the racks too heavy, I hung too many clothes on mine and the welds on the wall brackets broke. Hope this helps.

Answer:	What kind of the rack, wood or metal? The WEBI coat hooks include the installation screw. You can fix the hooks to the supporting structure, usually the wood or concrete.
Question:	Would this be able to hold heavier jackets
Answer:	Hi. The mounting holes are 9-3/8" apart. This means you won't be able to drill them into your 2x4 studs at the typical 16". Just a couple things to know: 1) this thing is a lot smaller than it looks in the picture. 2) when using the provided hardware, it doesn't feel as solidly attached to the wall as you would think and you can't tighten the screw too much or the plastic washer will crack and you won't be able to put the stainless cap on the screws (for aesthetics). Answer:	The holes on the bottom are about 9/16 ". i just ordered some office chair casters that are 7/16". I can add some duct tape to make up the difference, if necessary. Answer:	I would place lower shelf all the way to the bottom and set trash can on it then place other shelves where you want. This would keep shelving unit stable. If you need to leave one shelf off keep it and the plastic brackets in case you want to add later.

Answer:	Yes, and you can buy a bag of sleeves here for pennies. I have about 10 sets of shelves that I’ve bought here, Walmart, Aldis. The legs are all the same diameter so I’ve been able to interchange shelves to get what I want. The only issue I’ve had is the size of the shelves. Like others have said, check your measurements. If you use the shelf liners do some comparison shopping. Wide difference in price for same thing. I also found a heavy plastic shelf liner roll I can cut to fit. It has tiny parallel ridges that require cleaning with with a nap- like terry- but glasses sitting upside down can breathe so no “bad breath”. Items can be put away still damp as the ridges allow air to move. Love these wire shelves.

Answer:	Only a small microwave. Unit isn't really sturdy enough for larger appliances.
Question:	Are these the industrial size poles that are 1" so I can use shelves I already own
Answer:	The poles we received with the three shelf unit were only 0.75 inches in diameter. The industrial size poles are usually a 1 inch diameter, and are not compatible with the parts we received in this unit.

Answer:	Very easy to do both. All you need to take it apart would be to pull off the shelves one by one. I would suggest upside down after removing the top shelf. Then hit lightly with a hammer or mallet from below each shelf to loosen it from the plastic two parts that hold each side of the shelves. Once they are loose they will come apart. When putting it together, the number one thing is to pay attention to the plastic parts because they all say, this side up. You put the side down, you will never get it together. FYI when you unpack the parts a bunch of round black plastic pieces (that look like junk) will fall of, those are ONLY for protecting the posts when shipping so when putting together make sure they are not inside the posts or you will not be able to put it together. The actual parts come in a large bag full of smaller bags, each one is for putting together one shelf. The instructions mention it, but some people are commenting that they are broken pieces because they can't read. lol I'm 70 and I have put together 9, my most recent today. I'm sure you can also. They are sturdy and my older ones have been in use for a decade.

Question:	Is it possible to turn the shelves around so that the edges of the shelves have a lip
Answer:	People are saying yes, but it is designed for the shelves to have a "top" and a "bottom" so no, you cannot turn the shelves upside down. The weight of the shelve pushes down on the taper, creating a tighter "bind" with the leg. That's the design.
Question:	What is the diameter of the posts
Answer:	I don't know what diameter the other sizes are, but the 30" three tier shelf is only 3/4" diameter. I went off the previous answer when I bought three of these. Boy was I fooled when I received 3/4" poles. Smh!
