Answer:	The bracket is metal, but the clamp to hold the bracket to the vertical bar is plastic. I have not had any issues with it breaking. My only complaint so far is that the clamp for the bike is quite large. It is too wide to hold my wife's bike by the seatpost.

Question:	How durable is the Clamp? it appears to be made from plastic
Answer:	I would give it an acceptable rating. The hardware is adequate for what I use it for. If I were to regularly work on bikes I would not buy this product. Specific to the clamp... So far it has not popped out of position or given any indication of being weak. The entire setup is wobbly, but I use it for storing and quick maintenance for my 29 pound mountain bike. It is very portable and gets the job done for DIY maintenance. If you have a bike much heavier than 30 pounds I don't know if I would recommend. A bench or wall mount would be the way to go. My only complaint is that I do find it necessary to rotate the clamping handle and loosen it to securely grab and remove my particular bike (could be my anodized seat post or diameter). If I leave it to where I simply apply pressure or release the handle (aiming to be able to slip my seat post in/out of the clamp, it is not tight enough to hold my bike and the bike's seat post slips down. I'm fairly use to it by now. Overall I rate it 3.5/5 for what I wanted it to do, and a 4/5 for value compared to competing products. Sorry for the long answer- I will post this in the review side.

Answer:	There is more than enough clearance. I rotate our cranks all the time with bike upright on the stand. Plenty of room. Nice stand too, well made & sturdy.

Answer:	As everyone else has noted, this bikestand is very sturdy. While this is true, the question was whether it "tips". I assume this is asking whether it can become unbalanced and topple over. The answer is that it can tip over if care is not taken to maintain the bike in a balanced position on the stand. So, for example, if you remove one wheel only and position the bike so that the side with the remaining wheel hangs too far out, it might take only a nudge to cause it to start tipping over. You could put weights on top of the legs to help prevent this. I wouldn't call it a major problem.

Answer:	I measure 23" high x 24" wide x 21 inches deep. I can't really measure the weight. It pretty much stays put but it's not difficult to move.

Answer:	Definitely NOT. I transport 5 large cruiser style bicycles at a time inside my extended length minivan. 5 bikes fit inside, by alternating the handlebars forward-backwards-forward-backwards-forwards. This is only safe because the bikes are all tangled up with each other. Unless your rack INSIDE your vehicle has a secure locking clamp system (to keep the bikes from rolling back and forth when you hit the gas and brakes, or from falling over whenever you drive around a curve)...just like a good bike rack on the OUTSIDE of your vehicle should have, and unless the bike racks are bolted down to the floor of the vehicle, then you might as well forget trying to use any bike "stand" as a bike "rack" inside a moving vehicle.

Answer:	I use mine on my travel trailer. It has been outside for a year. There are the startings of rust at some of the bolt connections. I suspect that after a few years in the FL weather I will be buying a new rack...which I am good with.

Answer:	My son got it as a gift. He uses it for his electric bike, said to check your bike's weight to stands capacity.
Question:	Will it hold the Radrover ebike
Answer:	I have no idea, don't have one or access to one. The specs say the stand has a capacity of 60 lbs. It relies on a upper bar or perhaps a seat member bar to even clamp it in place, and it works best if the mounted bike can be in approximate balance front to back as clamped-up Don't know if that's possible with the Radrover. What does a Radrover weigh? Does it have substantial cylindrical frame near its center of gravity that can be clamped (I think the limit might be about 1-1/2" diam) Looked up Radrover bikes website just now, _maybe_ the Radmission 1 Electric Metro bike could work (they state wt 48 lbs and I see a top bar in the frame that doesn't look too thick or odd-shaped), but some other models like their cargo and delivery bikes probably not. I guess it would be pushing it. You might want to look into an older type heavy installed vertical columns and ensure whatever clamping system you use is capable of supporting it.
Question:	The clamp head does it have a tension/wear adjust? Have had friends with similar heads that the heads no longer clamp because there was no adjust
Answer:	The clamp head closes with a sturdy "cammed" handle; I don't anticipate wear here. The clamp head full opening is set by adjusting a sturdy wing nut on a threaded steel rod; again I don't anticipate wear here. To the OEM's credit, the user guide recommends caution when attaching bicycles having aluminum or carbon fiber frames so as not to crush the tubing. 'Hope that helps.

Answer:	IIRC the docs stated 60 lbs, which is far heavier than almost any conventional bike on the market. Don't think my fat-tire is much over 30 lbs.

Answer:	It is very easy to assemble, I too feel the same way but looking at the box and picture online. It will tell you how it is easy to install.

Answer:	I don’t see why not. The arm of the bike rack that touches the bike holds either on the top of the frame tube where your seat post goes in to or it’ll hold on directly on your seat tube. Either way would mean it’ll clear your bike fender.

Answer:	It only fits the standard size tire. If your tire is fat, more than the size on the description then it will not fit your bike.
Question:	Will this stand work if the bike has a luggage rack
Answer:	i have a trek verve 3 disk (Med) with a rack. The vertical post of the rack has to go thru the rack (remove the top portion install the bike then re-insert the top section) before it will work. However, the post is not long enough. The bike must lean back just enough that its weight distribution will tilt the rack over.

Answer:	I think it would hold a 50lb bike if you put the back wheel in the stand. I have a trek remedy 8 which is about 30lb. If it doesn’t work out it’s as easy as printing out the return slip and dropping it off at ups. I have two of them so far and might pick up a third one just because the price is so cheap compared to the other ones on the market.
