Answer:	I think the 1875 watts is how many watts it can support. We used it for a space heater, which was around 1500 watts, so it should work for almost any device, but it wouldn't support two space heaters, for example.

Answer:	Do you mean you set it once for that and it does it everyday? The answer is yes. Do you mean can you just set it for one day? You would have to change the setting after that one day because once you put in a setting (and whatever is plugged into that side) it keeps doing those times everyday. It's very easy to set!
Question:	Can you safely use an additional extension cord with this surge protector
Answer:	While you CAN daisy-chain extension cords, it's not a good idea. the longer the cord is, the more resistance there is. This creates heat in the wires, and power loss over distance. As resistance goes up, heat goes up, and power drain grows larger. Eventually you end up with a fire hazard, not to mention excess cost for energy used, as well as power loss at the terminus. Having said all that, it really depends on the length of the cords and the amount of power draw you're using. If you're using just a few outlets on one strip and attach another fairly short (like less than 8', for example) extension cord for greater reach, you should be fine.

Answer:	No. 4 outlets work on a timer, the other 4 are live all the time. You can put a secondary timer in the always live outlet to run your light as a solution

Answer:	According to the technical details on the product description page , this timer consumes a fairly high 1725 watts. However, when I checked a number of comparable digital timers, I found similarly high levels of wattage ranging from 1000w to 1850w. I find this very surprising since these timers have an LCD display and no motor like their mechanical counterparts. By way of comparison, my mechanical timers consume 1750w.

Answer:	Yes, you can set the time to turn off for 1 minute then turn on. For example, you can set it turn off on 4:00am wed, then turn on 4:01am wed.

Answer:	You CAN use this for a space heater if you're careful. If you do it wrong, you could start a fire as someone else stated. Regarding safety, if you're looking at the amazon ad for the 26892 model, the electrical limits are listed as 125V 50/60 Hz, 15A 1875W General Purpose/Resistive, 10A 1250W Tungsten, 1/2HP. The main thing is to make sure you don't exceed the amps and watts limits for the total load. Note, when you see tungsten, think conventional incandescent or halogen lights. Note that the limits for those are lower. All parts of the chain of devices from the outlet through the timer and any extensions must be able to support the maximum load you'll draw. So, if the outlet, and the timer, and the extension (if any) can safely provide enough power to the space heater, then it can work. The heater would probably have to be the only thing on the breaker that serves the outlet, and the only thing on the timer, and must draw less than the 1875W stated above.

Answer:	You will have to wait until next day for it to turn on. It does not apply the setting until the time passes it. It is a stupid implementation.

Answer:	The way you worded your question, the answer is yes. You can use multiple features at once. There are three preset time intervals you can use, morning, evening, and all night. There is a 4th custom on and off time you can set. So, if you activate morning, evening, and custom, you could have 3 separate intervals where the load runs every day. Activating morning, evening, and all night will give a slightly different time period than just all night. If you activate countdown, you could have a 4th interval which would run once. So, if the preset time intervals work for you, you can have 2 preset intervals and one custom interval all running every day. But you cannot have multiple automatic custom intervals.

Answer:	The short answer is yes. 1. You set your time.2. choose your programmed time (they have 3 preset times)3. You can press the countdown then choose any time from 1 minute to 24 hours, hit the countdown, and it will go off automatically after the amount of time you chose for the countdown.4. you also can choose the manual override to turn it on or off manually at anytime.The only thing I do not like about this unit is you can not choose your own times for it to go on and off. You have to use one of their 3 preset times. You can use the countdown feature for any amount of time you want, (1 minute- 24 hours), but you would have to re-set the amount of time you want it to count down, each time you use it. Programming

1. Choose your custom "my on time"

Press the "my on time" button, then use the arrows to set the on time. Once you reach desired "my on time," press the "my on time" button again or press the "my off time" button to begin setting the off time.

2. Choose your custom "my off time"

Press the "my off time" button, then use the arrows to set the off time. Once you reach desired "my off time," press the "my off time" button again or press the other "my on time" button to begin setting the next on time.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to program second set of "my on" and "my off" times.

Note: If you set the "my on time" earlier than the current time, it will not turn on until the next day at the time scheduled.

Question:	i have one of these and the dial has siezed up and I cant turn to set the current time....what lubricant do I use? less than a year old
Answer:	Same thing happened to me after being out in the harsh Arizona heat, dust and monsoon season. Mine runs my large water fountain in my back yard. I thought about a lubricant but it’s electric and I did not want to try to open it up. I just ordered another one, received it next day and working like a champ again. Not sure what would cause it to seize up after one month. I manually turned my dial through the cycle probable a dozen times thinking something (dirt, dust, water, whatever got inside causing it to seize) and it worked fine again for about another month and I decided to just get another one. I had other more expensive dials before this one in other homes that did not last. This one is reasonable in price and pretty reliable.

Answer:	It does, it is a built in rechargeable battery.
Question:	Can you program it to start and stop twice a day, every day of the week? (ie. pool pump 8am-12pm, 4pm-8pm every day
Answer:	A typical domestic water heater is 4500W for each element at 240V, but only one element is allowed to come on at a time. So that's 4500/240 = 18.75 amps. Even with a 10% or 20% margin, this Aube timer - rated at 30 amps - is more than sufficient. This item allows 7 programs. So you could have a different schedule of 1-off/1-on on 7 different days, or you could have 7 identical on-off cycles for all days. One of the beauties of this unit that distinguishes it from the others (including Intermatic digital timers) is that you can install an external SPST switch (a basic light switch will work fine) which overrides the unit and puts it into manual or switches it back into automatic. So, for example, I can use the switch to put the water heater into manual mode and leave it off when I go on vacation. Then, I leave instructions for my house-sitter to just throw the switch and put it back into automatic mode on her last visit so we have hot water when we get home from the airport.

Answer:	Yes. You could, for example, have it turn on at 12:00 noon and turn off at 12:01 PM. But remember it has only one on-off cycle per 24-hour period.

Question:	can I buy more timer clips
Answer:	This number is for the timer motor only, not the timer assembly, nor the case enclosing the assembly. This little motor is what usually goes bad. It can be replaced, but it is easier to replace the whole assembly. Model T104M is the timer assembly (includes the little motor) and Model T104P3 includes the timer assembly in a metal case. This case is not recommended for outside usage. If you want to use outside, install the Model T104M in a totally enclosed plastic case.
Question:	How do you determine whether you need a 110 or 240 volt timer? I don't see any indication on the old timer
Answer:	Absoluely, this works great for in ground pools. I bought one for my 10,000 gal pool with a 1 hp pump running on 220. excellent product.

Answer:	I haven't tried it in that application, but I would feel safe in using it for a block heater. It appears to be very well constructed with quality parts.
