Answer:	plug the red lead into the meter socket marked COM and the black into the center meter socket. Set the dial to V~ (for AC volts) on the 200 scale (for household current) insert one probe lead into each of the wall socket's vertical slots and move them around a bit inside the outlet slots to make sure you're getting a good connection, if in doubt plug a lamp or something into the socket. If you suspect the outlet socket itself has failed carefully remove the wall plate in order to access the actual wires connected to the outlet to be sure it's either a dead circuit or the outlet itself has failed.

But to ensure your perfect size, we suggest to purchase a size that is loose enough to accommodate wading pants and a fleece top underneath - it is advisable to measure over top of clothing and then refer to our size chart in the second main photo.
