Answer:	It works great with my Echo and integrates easily. These dimmers do not require a neutral wire, they only have two black wires and one green ground wire. The other lutron switches (the ones that don't dim but are on/off) require a neutral wire. I have used both types in my house because they are for different lights.
Question:	Confused about non-pro vs. pro version: will this operate with ifttt and logitech harmony. the description indicates yes, but lutron site says not
Answer:	Both versions (pro and regular) work with IFTTT and Logitech Harmony. In fact, most integration options work with both pro and regular versions of the Smart Bridge, including Sonos speakers, Nest thermostats, Apple Watch, Google Assistant, Hunter ceiling fans, and many others. Question:	Are the dimmers in this starter kit single pole or can I use them to replace two dimmers in my home that control the same lights
Answer:	Right, so it's a "mock 3-pole system" by way of the remote. The switch itself is single...but there is a remote that pairs with it and can be mounted in a light switch (2nd location) by removing the old switch and capping off the wires. Then, use the Pico Wallplate Bracket to mount the remote in the 2nd location.

Answer:	No it is not the same. The 70-190 super felt seems to be thicker. I actually went to my local supply store and bought Roberts blackjack to supplement it. It's very thin stuff. Save your money.

Answer:	It helps tremendously. You will still get the typical hollowing sound from a floating floor buts its definitely muted. And in comparison to your standard grade padding? Its about a 70% improvement. Well worth the upgrade.

Answer:	Yes. The purpose of the underlayment is two fold: insulation from sound and thermal barrier. You do not want to have cold feet from the basement coming up, and you do not want to have the sounds of clicks of heels (especially high heels) echoing through the house. I see no problem in providing an extra layer of protection for the vinyl because by nature, vinyl is soft.The best thing to do is to see what your vinyl floor manufacturer recommends, because you do not want to void any warranty

Question:	My thermostat is only used for heating the house and only has 2 wires, a red and white. Can i still use this ecobee
Answer:	If you have a really old 2-wire system, one that does NOT have modern solid state controls, then Ecobee won't work right off the shelf, even with their 2-3 wire power conversion module. These heating plants predate the 1980s and use "dry contact" thermostats. You can make it work if you install a 24v isolation relay. Ecobee outlines the procedure on their web site, but it takes some basic electrical wiring knowledge. I'm not sure if you can use the 2-wire conversion module with an isolation relay - it should be possible somehow or other. If you have a third wire running to the thermostat (it's often there) then you should use it to run 24V to the Ecobee, and ignore the conversion module.
Question:	Is there a provision to bypass the 'auto off' motion sensor so that my dogs don't suffer from the heat when I'm out
Answer:	Yes- you can disable the Smart Home/Away feature under the "Sensors" section of the interface, so that the thermostat will follow only the schedule/preset temperatures. In my case, I disabled it because I wanted the opposite functionality (I didn't want the system turning on if I stopped at home for a hour over lunch). Note that the "Follow Me" feature is a separate setting (found in the Sensors section as well) that allows the system to track where you are in the house and attempt to heat/cool that part of the house closer to your desired setpoint.
Question:	Does the main thermostat have a sensor for the first floor? Or is the white sensor needed for that floor? Is the black hub a sensor
Answer:	Main thermostat and white (remote) includes a temperature sensor and a motion sensor. First, you don't have to use the remote sensor. Second, if you use the remote sensor, the main sensor will combine the input of both (main and remote) temperature sensors and based on the amount of time spent in each area using the motion sensor. If motion is detected more near the main and less near the remote (as a %), then the main temperature will weigh heavier than the remote. As well, you do not need to use remotes and can be assigned to work during selected schedules only. It's quite amazing, but I haven't used them on my system yet. I figured I would learn the rest of the system before I introduced them.
Question:	is this a different model than the ecobee3 that is slightly less expensive? Also if wifi is out can you control it fully manually
Answer:	Yes, this is a different model then the ecobee3 lite. The ecobee will still be able to function as a thermostat and talk to the sensors, if your wifi goes out. You can still manually control your heating and cooling at your ecobee without wifi.

Answer:	Yes, the Caseta Wireless system can work with SmartThings. The Caseta Smart Bridge will need to be installed and an account created in order for Caseta and SmartThings to integrate.
Question:	Does it work with Comcast security
Answer:	Was told by Comcast/Xfinity that have to get the Pro version of the bridge to work with it. I purchased the Pro version and it does integrate with the Home app for IOS and Android (I use both) but only thing you can do is to turn on/off/dim lights from the app. You CANNOT create rules to turn lights on/off at a certain time - have them turn on when motion or alarm - etc. You also CANNOT use the Comcast/Xfinity touchscreen or web app to turn on/off/dim lights. Only scheduling options you have is to use the Lutron app and so no option for having lights come on with alarms or motion etc. I like the Lutron dimmers because they work with LED bulbs - the Centralite/Comcast controllers work great and I have several but they do not work with LED bulbs. I use Centralite/Comcast controllers for lights I need to come on with alarms/motion/etc and use Lutron for lights I just want on/off at certain times.
Question:	Is the bridge required to work with homekit? similar, i guess, to philips hue
Answer:	Yes. I have both the Phillips Hue and Lutron dimmer switched/outlets. To integrate with HomeKit, you will need to get both the Hues Bridge and the Lutron Bridge. There is an alternative method for running a Linux server running Homebridge that can replace the bridges, but it's difficult to setup and requires either a Raspberry Pie or dedicated Linux box / virtual box.

Answer:	I might have misinformed you. I assumed you had already purchased the Driver and just needed a dimmer. You will need to purchase a driver that will use the 0-10 VDC. Interesting, usually the 0-10 VDC is built into the fixture.
Question:	I got 2 new led 2x4 panels.can i use that dimmer and does it require any special wiring?so far i got 1 hot and 1 switch leg

Answer:	No, it doesn't work with batteries. You must have a C wire to make it work. I had to use a C wire adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VMV2BJ7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) in order to get mine hooked up.
Question:	Does this model handle S1 and S2 heat pump sensors
Answer:	I have a split system were the condensor is outside and the heater and blower motor are in the attic a typical system. I had to get 24 volts from the attic system to power up the thermostat this is what you need to do if you don't have a c wire. this was easy.
Question:	Will this reset, and return to it's program if power has been interupted ? It says hardwire power only, and I see no spot for batteries

Answer:	Based on Samsung's website - YES, this will work with SmartThings! I have had one of these thermostats for a few years now and have been content with using it just through wifi - I plan to play around with this now that I know it is compatible!! Answer:	It will reconnect automatically once your power comes back on as long as the modem/router also comes back on and reconnects to the internet.
Question:	What is difference between this thermostat and the white wifi version
Answer:	I called Honeywell and was told the "C" wire is blue and in fact mine is blue. I have no black wire. I have 5 wires yellow, white, blue, green and red. I was told I could check for AC voltage by connecting my meter to the red and blue wires. The Honeywell tech was very helpful. 800 468-1502.

Answer:	There is no functional difference between the two. This TH9320WF5003 is white and the RTH9580WF1005 is silver. The RTH9580WF1005 is the retail model with a 1 year warranty and this one is intended to be a contractor only model with a 5 year warranty. Honeywell's former policy was that the TH9320WF5003 warranty wouldn't be honored if not installed by a contractor. However, they have since changed this. You now get 1 year with this too if you install it yourself.

Answer:	You could use this in conjunction with the Insteon 2475F FanLinc Insteon Dual-Band Ceiling Fan and Light Controller, to controll the light functions. Use your remote to control the fan functions. The switch is of course unnecessary however.
Question:	Can you program 2 remotes to work with one switch? I want one wall mounted and one hand held
Answer:	This item needs to work with an Insteon hub, there is a hub that works with HomeKit. But this is a combination I have not tried.
Question:	Does anyone know if this dimmer works on a three way switch
Answer:	The Smarthome page for the 2466DW says nothing about dual-band. Neither the quickstart guide nor the owners manual say anything about dual-band. The owners manual states, in more than one place, that you need to "make sure you have installed at least two Access Points (#2443) or other dual-band INSTEON products". I think it's pretty certain that this product is NOT dual-band.
Question:	I purchased the Lutron P-PKG1W-WH and my new LED bulbs are flickering when being dimmed. They are dimmable bulbs and I have tried 2 different brands

Answer:	If they do, there is a setup to optimize the dimmer (set mininum dim level to a level where it does not flicker) Also note it can be configured for different light bulb types as eg LED requires a different way of dimming than halogen or incandescent. Answer:	According to the documentation, the max range between the Smart Bridge hub and the devices being controlled has to be less than 10 m / 30 ft. The Lutron hub itself needs to connect directly to a router via ethernet cable.

Answer:	Yes. You do have to wire the switch into the wall. The remote and hub are wireless.

Answer:	No. The switch is not designed for the wattage pull of the motor of a ceiling fan. My son-in-law tried one and the fan was really loud (in a white noise kind of way).
