Answer:	It will work with the C by GE Smart Plug by adding them to the same room within the C by GE app. It will not work with 3rd party products.

Answer:	This took me a while to figure out but as long as all the bulbs being powered of this switch are C by GE light bulbs and you tell the switch that through the C by GE app on your phone, then yes, they will remain always connected. However, if just one bulb off the switch isn't a C by GE smart bulb this setting won't work right.

Answer:	Don't try pairing as a smart light. Go under set up a device then security devices and scroll down to "works with ring". That will walk you through pairing. I just did it with GE 14291

Answer:	This model is specifically designed to replace a standard light switch in a residential home. It is 3-way compatible, to work with a GE add-on switch so the 2 of them together can replace 2 light switches and both control the same light(s).
Question:	Is there an led indicator on the switch itself when it's in on/off
Answer:	Yes, there is an LED indicator light on the bottom right hand corner of the switch. It is default set for the LED indicator to be On, when the connected light is turned off. This allow the switch to be found in the dark. Answer:	The dimmer switch works exactly as any wall switch does except that it dims the lights. When the electricity comes back on, I don't see any reason why the lights would not return to the same light level that it was before you lost power. It is NOT electronic--it is manually controlled. You turn the knob to get the light level where you like it, and then, you push the knob to turn it on and off. It will stay at the same light level where you originally set it. As an alternative, you could turn the knob to turn the lights off and turn it the other direction to turn it back on and possibly change the light to a different level. I have used these exact dimmers for years and years and they always work the same. It is beyond simple to use and it works very well. Buy it.

Answer:	Yes, the wire-free dimmer switch will work with our light strip.
Question:	How long is the delay from when motion is detected and the lights turn on? I've seen some long times for z-wave sensors
Answer:	The current version of the app does not allow for a "follow the sun" type feature, unfortunately. Keep a lookout for the new version of the app that is slated to come out in a few months though. It is packed with all sorts of features that the old one does not currently offer. I believe that you can set up scenes within the Alexa app and then set automation to run those scenes with a trigger being sunrise. It's important to note though: the wire-free devices only work in the C by GE app and they can only control C by GE lights. So, this product would not be compatible with Alexa app only the bulbs it controls would be. This switch is also not a hub for our bulbs and would not work to link your C by GE bulbs to your Alexa device.
Question:	Are these fully compatible with Smartthings
Answer:	The most common commands that we have tested and confirmed work with our devices through Hubs like SmartThings, Iris, or Wink are as follows:1. On (This will return the light to the last set brightness level)2. Off, 3. Specific percentage (1% all the way to 100% for full brightness)4. Brighten (Increments up 25% from current light level)5. Dim (Increments down 25% from current light level)With that said, the GE 14294 must be connected to a Z-Wave certified hub that is integrated with Alexa to allow control from an Alexa enabled device. Because the commands are sent to the hub specifically, we may not have the full list of commands capable of controlling lighting devices.

Answer:	Echo plus has a built in Zigbee hub in it, it can’t control Z-Wave devices. All of these switches are designed for indoor installation only, regardless of the location or insulation level of a box outside.
Question:	Can you update the firmware on the switch (14299)? If so how
Answer:	All of the GE Z-Wave Plus products offer Over the Air Updates, however this is a function that must be supported by the hub. It is important to note that firmware builds are not available to consumers and any updates would be official releases provided to a hub manufacturer to push out to any potentially connected devices. This is to avoid damaging the product or mismatching firmware that could cause the dimmer or other product from failing to work.

Answer:	All of the GE Z-Wave In-Wall products are capable of being installed in a 3 or 4 way installation. For a 4 way installation you will need This product (GE 14299) and 2 of the GE 12723 Add-On Switches.
