Question:	How many Watts does the unit itself consume
Answer:	According to the technical details on the product description page , this timer consumes a fairly high 1725 watts. However, when I checked a number of comparable digital timers, I found similarly high levels of wattage ranging from 1000w to 1850w. I find this very surprising since these timers have an LCD display and no motor like their mechanical counterparts. By way of comparison, my mechanical timers consume 1750w.
Question:	can this be used to turn off my router every three days ? sometimes it needs to be reset when I am out of town. It would need to be off for 1 minute
Answer:	Yes, you can set the time to turn off for 1 minute then turn on. For example, you can set it turn off on 4:00am wed, then turn on 4:01am wed.

Question:	Can these timers be set to remain on for 3-4 days and then turn off? Thanks
Answer:	Yes it definitely can! These timers are great because you can choose whatever day or days of the week you want your product to turn on or off. So in your case, you could set the timer it to turn on say on Monday morning at 6 am and not turn off again until Thursday morning at 6 am. Or you can choose to have it turn on your products every day, every other day, or on and off multiple times in one day. They are very easy to program which is great because the first timers I bought were not easy to program and I just got rid of them because these are fantastic!
Question:	Are these quiet after they have been used for a long time? My mechanical ones start making loud noises after several months--very annoying
Answer:	My Century 7 timers are brand new. I have not experienced any loud noises coming out of them. Although they are on the larger side, they are wonderful, easy to program and reliable so far. I gave them as gifts and set them up for someone that I know. They work well for my friend.
Question:	Can someone explain to me how it works? I programmed them and they won’t turn on at the time
Answer:	As you cycle through pushing the on/auto/off button there will be two "autos" indicated. Only one of these will do the program. The other may cause operation at odd times.

Answer:	Yes, the cover is easily closed with tiny door snap. Once close the tiny door is a push button swith for on and off ( bypass).
Question:	Please can this switch work with my country power voltage of 220-240 voltage
Answer:	I'm sorry my friend, this switch/timer is rated for 125 volts single phase only. I haven't seen a switch timer that will accommodate 240 volts. Best of luck!
Question:	Once programmed is there battery b/u or does it use a capacitor to store the memory for x hours? Would like to replaceable battery backup type unit
Answer:	According to the spec sheet, it has NiMH rechargeable battery, however I do not believe it can be replaced if/when it fails. I have had the power off to one of my switches for about 3 days and it maintained the programming, so it will do the backup. I think I prefer this type of battery over a non-rechargeable that can be replaced, which I have used in the past. On several occasions I did not notice the battery was low on the other types of switches and I lost my programming. So far I like these switches.
Question:	Can I use this for led bulbs and if so is there a minimum wattage
Answer:	There is no minium wattage and this switch is compatible with LED bulbs.

Answer:	Yes of course.Mine works well in duration of minutes and seconds.Some complain about the seconds function for there is no "second" button, but as i know we still are able to use the "Minutes & seconds" instead of only "Hour & Minutes".Here is the OPERATION: Press the SWITCH button --->Press and Hold the TIMING CYCLE button for 3 seconds,and the top set of numbers will flash (transformed to Minutes & Seconds Mode).Then the two parts of number (Hours & Minutes) represents (Minutes & Seconds).For Example, first Press the SWITCH button, then Press and hold the TIMING CYCLE button for 3 seconds, when the numbers flash, then Press the Hour button to adjust the number to 1,press the Minute button to adjust the number to 30.Other operation just the same.Job done.These are the steps for setting Minutes and Seconds cycling, hope it helps.

Answer:	Not sure where you got 800 watts.... the back of mine says 15 amps at 125v. 125X15=1875 watts. To be on the safe side I wouldn't use it on anything that draws more than 110*15=1650 watts.

The Honeywell Econoswitch 7-day solar programmable wall switch can help save money by ensuring that your lights come on only when you need them. The sleek design mounts flush with standard decorative wall plate (not included). There are three operating modes: manual (conventional on and off switch), automatic, and random. There are up to 7 programs (7 on and off) per week. A program can apply to a single day or repeat every day. The connection is a single pole 3-wire (line, load, neutral 1800-watt maximum, 3/4-horsepower at 120-volt). For each day of the week, one is able to choose sunset and sunrise programming. It is simple to use - easy 3-button interface for easy operation and programming. There is a manual override, which enables load to be turned on/off without effecting programming. The programming is protected during power outages. This switch can also be used like a conventional on/off switch, is CFL and LED compatible, and no minimum wattage required. Question:	Does this require a neutral wire? I only have 2 switch wires
Answer:	Yes, a Neutral is required. You must have 3 wires in total. Hot, Neutral, and Load. You CANNOT use a ground as your Neutral. If you are not sure which wire is wich then please consult an electrician. Please be aware that not all switches require a Neutral. Dumb switches only require a Hot and a Load. Years and Years ago they only wired switches with the Hot and Load. It was until around the 70s that the neutral was included at the switch point. Prior it was only located at the load. Load = the device that you want to control with the switch such as a light, motor, etc..
Question:	Can it be used to replace a switch in 3-way switch
Answer:	It can be used to replace a 3-way switch! The other switch becomes unusable is my understanding though. I installed this switch in what was a 3-way configuration using the instructions from this review of this switch: http://www.amazon.com/gp/review/R1CGCNTF3U776D?ref_=glimp_1rv_cl
Question:	I know it can self adjust the time based on coordinates, but can you program it to leave the lights, etc. on for only 2 hours after being turned on
Answer:	Yes, You can program 7 separate on/off times. In my case, I have it scheduled to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise (all week). This is 1 program. I still have 6 programs remaining. So you could schedule random on off times for any day of the week you wish. For instance, on at 8:00pm and off at mid-night (Monday, Tuesday, and Friday). This would be 1-program.
Question:	What happens if the power goes out? Does the timer remember the settings, or does it reset
Answer:	I just spoke with an AUBE tech (owns Honeywell) about this astro timer on 8/07/19. He told me they use a super capacitor now that will hold the time AND program settings for a period of approximately 2 hours during a power outage. After two hours of the power being off, the time of day will need to be reset, but the program should still remain intact.

You will need to plug it into an electrical source and allow it to charge for 30-45 minutes. Answer:	Yes indeed! I used it for my Christmas lights last winter. It unexpectedly worked perfectly in extended sub freezing temperatures. Just don’t let it get wet.
Question:	Is there a way to select the active program? In case I want to have several setted up but only one active
Answer:	Yes, you can. You can first set up the programs and turn the programs you don't want active to be off temporary by pressing the MODE button. You can press the MODE buttons to re-activate later.
Question:	is this easy to program to run for 1 to 5 minutes
Answer:	Yes. As I know, at beginning my grandson programmed for 1 minute and 2 minutes just to make sure the device was working.
Question:	After i programmed (timer 1 only) and plugged it in, why is it on all the time although it is set on auto? are both red lights supposed to be on
Answer:	C. Brenton is incorrect. If you program the on and off times for any point in the future, it will run that schedule automatically if each outlet (timer) is set to On and the outlets (timers) are set to Auto. For example, it was 10:50 PM when I set everything up as I wanted to do a test. I set it to turn off my devices at 11:00 PM and 1 device back on at 11:03 PM and the other back on at 11:05 PM. I then manually turned them on (Mode 1 or Mode 2) and then held down Mode 1 and Mode 2 to set them to Auto. Sure enough, at 11:00 PM they both went off and came on as I set. You don't have to wait 24 hours for the schedule to kick on.

Question:	I bought one of these and the battery ran out. I plugged it in for a while but it does not function properly anymore. What should I do
Answer:	I have not had this problem; however, I would suggest that you contact the manufacturer and let them know the problem and I am sure they will replace in exchange for the one you received.
Question:	Does this cover both outlet
Answer:	I assume you are talking about an outlet with two jacks spaced one above the other. If that is the case and you plug the timer into the top jack, the bottom jack will still be available for another plug. However, if you plug the timer into the bottom jack, the timer will cover up the top Jack as well.
Question:	We want it to run 5 min on/15 min off indefinitely but it seems to quit the cycle after 12 hours. Is there something we are missing in the set up
Answer:	I have mine plugged into a 24 hour timer. But in email the company. The customer service is great
Question:	Does it make a fan work for only 15 seconds in 30 minutes interval "forever
Answer:	I’m not sure you can set it to turn on or off for less than 1 minute at a time but, yes, you can set the interval to run indefinitely.
