However, please note that the power draw/load of some appliances may spike during initial startup or operation. If said spikes exceed the Smart Plug's specifications, we would not recommend using the appliance. Answer:	No. Strictly on/off. FYI-if you’re having issues with controlling this device it may be due to your WiFi not having enough band width. I had to replace my router before my “system” would reliably control the iHome connect devices. It also helped with my Sonos system as well. Great Switch for outdoor use!

Answer:	If you're looking for a smart plug to use with HomeKit/Siri, this one is not worth the frustration. It'll work reliably for awhile (days, a week) then it'll lose the connection and need to be rebooted. I had 6 of these and in the end I've replaced them all with the Meross smart plugs (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088FCQHF8) - these have been reliable, they're less expensive and they have two independently controlled outlets for the same size plug.
Question:	Will this work with any kitchen appliance
Answer:	I've personally only used this to control lamps. But the specs claim the switch is rated for up to 1800 watts on 110 volts. As stated in the previous answer it will not make the appliance smart it will only act like it is plugging and unplugging the appliance. The best example I can think of where this would work is my electric kettle which doesn't have an on off switch it is always on when plugged in so this smart switch would be nice to have my water boiling for my morning tea right when I get out of bed!

Answer:	To help clarify. Yes it will work - do not exceed 1800 Watts. It may impact your warranty. Most customers don’t utilize warranties anymore. I also recommend a surge protector with EMF filtration, and if possible spike (not quite a surge, more like 220V to 300-400V and back down), & sag (voltage drop aka brownouts) protection. An isolation transformer will do the job the best. However with the cost of the item, maybe a simple surge protector is the best use of your money if anything additional is added.
Question:	Does this work with the google home
Answer:	I've done great with using Google Home with all my Wemo products EXCEPT the dimmer light switch. That is not compatible yet. They say "it's coming". (In the meantime, there's a developer-only hack that voids warranties, so I'd avoid it!) There is limited compatibility with IFTTT+Google Home, though, so that's been a decent work around for me. Love my Wemo products, have them all over the house.

Answer:	Due to the way timers work, you can set 2 timers and make this work. One will be an Astronomical Timer that comes on at Sunset. You can set it to turn off at Sunrise. Then you set a second Programmable timer that turns on at 10:59 PM and off at 11:00 PM. At 10:59 it will stay on since it is already on. The same timer will turn it off at 11 PM. When Sunrise happens, the off part of the first timer will trigger, but since it is already off, it will just stay off.
Question:	If electricity is still on, but wifi network goes down, do the devices stay on or off and still follow their schedule
Answer:	If Wifi is down, device will not be able to follow a schedule. However, the device will remain in the state (On or Off) it was in at the time Wifi went down as longs as there is electricity.

Answer:	This page has 4 products sold with the same set of questions. I wonder if the other answer is for a different product. The WiOn 50055 Indoor Wi-Fi Wall Tap does keep it's schedule locally. It retains it after power off. I did not leave it unplugged over night, but I pulled it from the wall and then plugged it into another room. It still has it's schedule and runs it fine.However ... if it is ON when the power goes off. It does NOT turn back on when the power comes back on. It has to wait for the next ON scheduled timer to trigger.
