Answer:	I measured mine-Horizontal(left to right) width =11 1/4 inches. Top to bottom height=11.5 inches. Diagonal measurement is 14 3/4 inches.

Answer:	I purchased this laptop cooling pad because my laptop is a workstation and not designed for gaming. I worked fine and is still working although not cooling the laptop as much as I would like. It measures only 10 inches long and my laptop is 15 inches so I searched for another larger Belkin.I had a Belkin cooling pad that was 17 inches long and worked for my 17 inch laptop for years and it finally quit. I now have a 15.5 inch laptop and I happen to find a 15 inch Belkin cooling pad. I have it now and it keeps my laptop much cooler than the 10 inch one when I play on line.I also purchased a targus cooling pad with duo fans but does not keep my laptop cool at all.I now keep this F5L055 as a backup.

Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.

Answer:	Mine caught on fire with a little 1500 watt space heater, and to compare, my hair dryer is 1875 watts (not plugged into a smart plug of course), so it doesn't take much for these to catch on fire. Be careful if you use anything in it larger than maybe a desk lamp in my opinion. I unplugged all 3 of my kasa smart plugs and won't use them anymore.

Answer:	Two parts to this answer... First, yes it retains it's settings if the power is off or it's unplugged. Second, I powered on my lamp then unplugged the unit from the wall. Upon plugging it back in after a couple seconds it turned itself back on (the last state it was in) and within a few more seconds re-connected to my wifi network.Hope this answers peoples questions about power outages and operation...

Answer:	If you have experienced a lighting strike, the MOVs (metal oxide varistors) that dissipate the energy have been stressed. They may not handle the next strike very well and damage the important equipment you plug into this. It is best to purchase a new one so that it will work properly for the next lighting strike. If this is a common occurrence at your home, you should look into lighting arrestors and better ground for your electrical connection to the power grid. I would not trust the protection light (Green) if you are smelling any sort of burnt wire smell. The likelihood of a fire hazard is increased - if wire insulation has melted due to heat from the lighting strike. If I remember correctly, MOVs usually fail to an open state but I would not bet on it without testing. It is cheap insurance to throw this out and replace it with new.
