Answer:	In our case the extender was on the 2nd floor (modem on the 1st floor). Because the signal fluctuated so much, it was not even tested out on the 3rd floor. This unit was returned to vendor.

Answer:	I also have a Samsung SmartThings hub and have 30 devices within my Samsung app ‘MyHome’. As much as I would like, I have not been able to get my Samsung hub to ‘discover’ this outlet. The outlet has worked as intended in the two weeks since I installed it. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Assume you're thinking that the metal boxes will shield the outlet from the WiFi signal - that I can't answer. Saw this on one of the reviews - "Edit: after adding a couple more of these outlets it turns out it is physically too large for standard "old work" type boxes or exterior metal boxes. the ground wire lug is on the bottom of the outlet and sticks out too far to fit in box. I removed my old junction box and installed a new larger "new work" box and it fits, but it's additional complexity that will be a deal breaker for many people and doesn't work in all situations." - see the comment about the metal box. Will say that that the sallow boxes will cause issues also (have a light switch that needs a replacement install). Hope this helps?

Question:	Can I use the app with the outdoor plug to dim my party lights, or will the plug work with a physical dimming accessory
Answer:	This is just a remote on and off switch, it doesn't have the ability to adjust voltage or dim lights. It will only work with appliances and devices that have a physical on off switch that can be put in the on position permanently.. In other words if you turn the device on and unplug it from the wall, when you plug it back in it should still be on. If the device you're trying to control utilizes a logic switch for on-off control then the logic switch needs to default to the on position for this switch to work. In other words if a device you're trying to control defaults to the off position when power is cut then the switch won't be able to turn it on
Question:	Can I use this to plug in my motorhome to an outdoor outlet
Answer:	I would not recommend that type of load on this device. Although it works great for most smaller things I don't believe the wattage would support that type of large draw on the amps on that connection.
Question:	Anyone using this on a snow melting heated walkway system? I need to control remotely in a mountain home when away
Answer:	This outlet is designed to work at 120VAC @ 15A. total maximum. If your driveway heating system operates within these limitations, I would think this should do the trick. I would spend what you think would be an appropriate amount of time to supervise the switch/system to ensure you don’t exceed the limitations of switch/system.

Answer:	Yes. I have have tree lights plugged into the first outlet and deck lights plugged into the second outlet. I assigned each outlet a separate name via the Alexa app and they are individually controlled. Has worked flawlessly so far.

Answer:	It was fairly simple for me to setup. It took about 7-10 minutes to set it up. I used the google assistant so the following steps may vary if you use alexa. 1. Plug in the smart plug. 2. Press and hold the power button until the button flashes blue about twice every second. (Rapid Flashing) 3. Next, download the Smart Life app and create an account. (Make sure you sign up via email and not via google or apple. It will ask for a password during the linking process.) 4. Once an account is setup, add a new device. Select the one that says (Smart Outlet - Wifi). 5. Follow the next few prompts and it should set the plug up via Smart Life. 6. Once it is paired to the SmartLife app, Go to the "Me" Section and select a Third-Party Voice Services. 7. Follow the prompts (Hint: This is where you need the account password.
