Answer:	It should work fine since each bulb will have power. With the bulbs being right next to each other, You’d have to try it and see if they have any interference between each other. If it does work, you could just make a scene that turns them on with the same color and percent, so they come on and off as if they were just one light.

Answer:	Yes, and no. You can still use the normal light switch to turn the bulb on and off. However, when you have the light switch off there is no power to the bulb and therefore it cannot be turned on with the Hue button (or any other device). Also, you can set the 'power-on behavior'. If you set the power-on behavior to on, then you turn off the light switch and on the switch the bulb will go to the power-on behavior. So if the bulb is off and the Hue button is too far away, you can turn the switch off and then on and the bulb will come on.

Question:	How long do the batteries last
Answer:	It's going to depend on how often you use it. I have not gotten more than a year on the rooms I use every day. Make sure you don't over tighten that tiny screw on the battery door! Terrible design that makes it very easy to strip the screw.
Question:	If i buy a second dimmer switch, will it be independent of the one i already have? i don’t want all lights to come on
Answer:	You would have to programme it to be associated with a particular bulb or group of bulbs, so it would be independent of the current dimmer and any bulbs you have by default. However, if you buy one of the dimmer packs that include a bulb, sometimes the dimmer is already paired with the included bulb, so you would have to reset the dimmer in this instance.
Question:	Do you need to use an app for this or will it just work with the bulb and remote
Answer:	I purchased this via ebay. No. You do not need the app. Both the bulb and the remote will work fine without the Philips Hue Hub. The Philips Hue Hub is a product that allows the bulbs to interface with your phone. This system is designed to work out of the box with each other. The remote comes preprogrammed for the bulb. However, it is possible to purchase the Philips Hue Hub to use the (free) Philips Hue app with this bulb and with other bulbs in your possession, and that will allow you to re-set up the remote to accomplish more specific and varied effects like launching scenes that you have created. I am guessing that users who report needing app to set up the remote, first purchased a Philips Hue Starter Kit, (which comes with a Hub), and thus have only ever experienced using a Philips Hue Dimmer Switch with respect to the Philips Hue app, which will of course require a setup of the switch to integrate it into your existing system. This set will work conveniently and consistently out of the box. No phone, app, or Hub required.

Question:	Is there a way to use this for security? will it notify you remotely or ifttt when it senses motion
Answer:	Yes. I have mine pointed at my front door. Whenever it senses movement and I am not home (ie: my cell phone isn’t home) I get an alert on my phone. While it works for security, I also use it to know when maintenance is in my apartment, and it also triggers turning on the main lights. It’s all setup through iOS Home, so not sure about ifttt or Android. But definitely possible!
Question:	What is the minimum amount of time after leaving the room before the lights turn off
Answer:	There’s a setting in the app that says “when there is no motion after ___ minutes” the quickest setting is 1 minute. Then from there 2,3,5,7,10, and increments up to 60.
Question:	What's the difference between this one(473389) and the other one
Answer:	I have four Hue sensors– two in black boxes, two in blue boxes. The sensors in black boxes are not HomeKit compatible. The sensors in the blue boxes are. I don't know how that lines up with the product numbers.
Question:	What's the battery life on this? Does the amount of traffic affect how long the battery last
Answer:	Pretty much the shelf life of the battery. It's been more than three years since I bought the 1st gen and it's working just fine to trigger a garage and entry hall - and it has been well over 110 in that area for much of this past summer. I've not pulled the patent applications nor reverse engineered it but the circuit stays low (the least amount of power consumed) during the period consisting of daylight or other room lights on. I my case I'd bet that the sensor is consuming current for six hours a day for nearly 1,000 days.

Answer:	You can but adapters on Amazon that’ll tie or extend strips.

Answer:	I'm not sure about that I believe these work specifically with the extensions that are sold separately. If you're looking for a super super bright setting then yeah I would recommend finding a way to connect multiple but once you get a look at one of these in person you'll find that it's very bright just the one on my living room TV lights up my entire living room

Answer:	Yes, it does. Sync your Hue Bridge to Razer Synapse and you can select any hue lights using that bridge to work with Razer Synapse. All the same options you've come to expect with your razer peripherals are available to the hue lights you've selected, including syncing with videogames. Just be sure if you want to sync to external media, like videogames, you download the associated razer app. So, as an example, to sync to Overwatch, there's a separate overwatch add-on you download thru Razer which enables it. It's actually really cool and works surprising well.

Answer:	I don’t think so. The way this item works is it fits over the bulb you want to remove. The rubber portion of this item does not get small enough to fit around the piece that holds the fixture (cover) in place. You might have to remove the cover someway and leave it off so you can get to the bulb whenever it needs to be changed.

Answer:	You could move the pole side to side to walk it off the bulb. Or else pull straight down and twist the bulb in the holder and ease it off the bulb

Answer:	I initially charged it with a phone charger. Then, after I installed it on my car's dash, it self-charges through Solar Energy. Have had it for over 8 months, and it has never needed to be re-charged other than through Sun light.
