Answer:	If you have a meter, just check with that. Red to + will show a positive voltage. Red to - will show a negative voltage. Also, unless there is something very odd about your batteries, the end with collar, reduced diameter, should be plus.
Question:	is working if we have metal door
Answer:	You need to look at the batteries that came with the device, usually Ni-Cd (these batteries) or Ni-Mh. Could also be Lithium but probably not. I put one of these batteries in my old shaver and has worked great.
Question:	How waterproof can this wireless doorbell be
Answer:	The tabs are already attached. You use the tabs to make connections to your device, or to each other if you are making a battery pack. If building a pack make sure to assemble in proper order for you application-in series or in parallel.. I used 4 in series to make a 4.8v pack for cordless screwdriver.
