Answer:	AFAIK you need to buy two in order to get a chime for each doorbell then link them separately to each ring. Then you have to change the tone for both doorbells to get a unique sound for each door.

Answer:	You can also set it up to make a chime when it detects motion. I usually have this setting turned off so it only chimes when someone pushes the button.

Answer:	Yes. The actual "receiver" just plugs into any outlet. The door sensors are attached with double-sided tape. You can move both to any location.

After chosen the ringtone,then long press receiver volume button for about 5-7 seconds until hear receiver “ding” with blue led light flashes which mean receiver get into pairing mode and it will exit it automatically if it doesn’t get signal from transmitter in 5 seconds. 3.When receiver get into pairing mode,you should immediately separate to pair with the receiver in 5 seconds.You will hear the tone you selected which mean your operation is successfully.
Question:	How can I stop the alarm from going off
Answer:	hello, when you open the door or window, the receiver only play the melody once, not a continuous chime. there is no mute button on the receiver,nor any on/off button on the door sensor, if you don't want to be disturbed, please un-plug the receiver to stop the ringing.

Answer:	One day after installing a Ring 2 , Rings notification came up to sign up for a plan. There is no workaround to get access to the Ring devices functions as any attempt leads back to the notification screen. Be aware that ring is useless without the basic plan at $30.55 per device.

Answer:	Yes. The product names are VERY CONFUSING so pay careful attention. This is the second gen of the RING DOORBELL, the standard, "entry-level" version of the product. It has a built-in battery, which means, in order to recharge the doorbell, you have to take the entire doorbell off. The RING 2 is the upgraded product, which has a "quick switch" battery. I have 2 batts, keep one charged so I can swap them as needed. RING 3 is the upgraded, new version of RING 2. Essentially the same with a couple new features. Hope that helps.

Answer:	You can add any mp3 you want. Select up to a 20 second play or the whole song/tone. It has 2 zones...front and rear. This unit is tricky and takes some fiddling and patience. I have installed 2 and they both got confused and played 1 mp3 for front and rear...some kinda' glitch...but eventually you'll get it to work. Be patient.
Question:	Has anyone experienced random rings, e.g. interference? How do you prevent it
Answer:	I have had random rings. I fixed it be removing the jumpers that are used for the wireless doorbell button control. I have mine hardwired to the button at my front door so the jumpers are not needed. The radio frequency of my neighbors truck key fob was setting off my chime. A few times when he unlocked his truck, my door bell would ring. But now that I removed those jumpers, not once has it happened again.

Answer:	Buy new doorbell buttons. They are not expensive. You probably can get just the center button part to replace the old button. You don't need to replace the elaborate decoration unless you want to. The old button pushes out of the center and the new one can be inserted. Answer:	I believe the tunes are proprietary melodies. They are sufficiently annoying to make you want to get up and answer the door before they press the button again. Ours stopped working a couple of weeks ago. I have not yet diagnosed the problem. Don't know if I will. The dogs are much quieter now.

Answer:	I guess you can if you crazy glue it to the ceiling. It's meant to hang, so it doesn't have anything that allows it to be attached fully.
