Now it is the time to connect the Power to the Monitor using specially supplied power unit it looks some what like your Smart Phone Charger ensure that it is for the right Voltage Supply that you have you can easily check by looking at the back of the Power Unit it is all there for you to see . Find the point where the Pin end is inserted . Look for older nomenclature on line maybe a pdf that tells you how it works. This unit was really meant for the back yard patio area as it does allow monitor feature. I don’t know if you can limit by disconnecting the lead that allows monitoring. These systems are aging out of production ergo had to find replacements for the front door bell intercom. My front door bell feature quit but the intercom still works. House had redundant door bells. Most folk now go with the Ring or Nest door bell monitors these days that give you the bell function along with video and comm I bought this unit to replace the back patio
