Answer:	Not sure the wattage but bare in mind that it says combined amperage is 2.1. That means that the USB ports are most likely 5 volts at 1 amp each. In other words, don't expect this to charge your iPad since a typical iPad needs a 2 amp charger. Should work fine to charge most cell phones including iPhone. Even Galaxy phones use 2 amps and up (2.3) so they may trickle charge.
Question:	Does it swivel in both directions
Answer:	Be cautious about this unit to see if it would suit your needs.... It does require 2 outlets to plug into. The top is fake (plastic) and the bottom prongs are real. Many new homes have the bottom outlet wired to a switch. Thus, this 6 outlet tap could either be all turned ON or OFF using the switch, rendering this unit useless in some cases. Each 3 set of outlets on the side are not wired separately.

Answer:	All power for this device comes from the TOP outlet of your receptacle -- so if that is switched then all outlets on this device will be switched (or if your bottom outlet is switched then all outlets on this device will NOT be switched).
Question:	What are the actual dimensions of this unit
Answer:	My outlets are flush with the cover plate surface. Both the outlet and cover plate surfaces stand proud of the wall surface about 3/16". After I remove the center screw from the cover plate , install the new wall plug adapter into the original plug [with or without the original wall plate] the new wall plug adapter does not contact the wall surface. It is about 1/8" to 3/16" gap between the wall and the rim of the new wall plug adapter. I don't like this because the result is a wiggly assembly, does not feel solid or secure even though it is firmly screwed into the old, pre-existing outlet. It the new wall plug adapter had a deeper recess on the back [wall] side it would not have this gap and would feel much more secure.

Question:	can this be used for wi-fi or cordless phone range extender
Answer:	The answers given are mostly right, but there is confusion. However, I have pictures of this model (GE # 54947), AND I ohm'ed it out. (If I can't post here, I will follow up with a Review where I know you can post pictures.) For the GE model I noted, there are 6 metal prongs on the back side. Each has a Hot, a Neutral, and a Ground. Each set of 3 is INDEPENDENT of the other. If you had a standard duplex receptacle that, say, was wired with one of the outlets ON, and the other SWITCHED, then that pattern would be reflected on the front of the Adapter. One bank of 3 would be on, and the other bank of 3 would be switched. I verified this by ohmmeter.

Answer:	I am not understanding the question. I love mine and it works great. Depending on what you plug into it it may not allow for three plugs to go in if the plugs are wider. I can plug my coffee maker, toaster, and a random other countertop appliance into it when needed as long as the plug from the appliance is not too wide.

Question:	Are these outlets tamper resistant
Answer:	This plug is the standard US voltage 110-125V/15A. Normally it is ok, please check the voltage and power of your appliance when you use the plug.

Answer:	It sticks out almost 1.5 inches from the wall. On top it is over a half inch from the top of the cover plate. I hope this helps.

Answer:	The specs are listed under "technical details". It is basically flat against the wall. The pictures on the listing show exactly how it is installed. I have a couch pushed against mine. Before I installed this anytime the couch shifted it would knock the lamps that were plugged in out of the sockets. Those plugs were also doing some damage to the back of my couch. I got a new couch and didn't want to risk any damage. These do a perfect job and end up providing you with an additional outlet.

Question:	Anybody know what the Jules number is? (The surge protection number) It's not mentioned or pictured anywhere
Answer:	It will get power from whichever socket it is plugged into. If it's the one with the light switch, yes all 3 will turn off with the switch. If it's in the other socket things will need turned off individually. Since you can tilt the top one up & the bottom one down you can plug 2 into an outlet. Just be careful not to overload your circuits.
Question:	Will this fit into a GFI outlet
Answer:	This item will provide power to any item that would normally be plugged into a wall outlet. This tap only provides power to the plugged in device, it will not extend or improve the performance of a wifi or phone range extender.

Question:	Can an extension cord be plugged into this outlet? I saw a similar surge protected outlet at Home Depot but it stated not to connect an ext cord
Answer:	I think it's a neater look having the cords running across the wall instead of sticking straight out. Also, if you have a piece of furniture right against an outlet, it makes it easier to use that outlet that would normally be blocked. In our case, we needed extra outlets b/c we only have a one in our master bath (which is ridiculous). Those are just a few reasons why the product works for us. Good Luck!

Question:	Does the type a (2 prong) type have even prongs or is one larger than the other
Answer:	I bought the 3 prong version. On the side that plugs into the wall, the Two prongs are the same size (and then there is the round prong). The slots for the prongs on the unit itself accommodate the larger and smaller prong type. I don’t know if the 2 prong version is the same.
Question:	is the 2.4a per line or the total of 3 usb line
Answer:	I think the answer from the Tessan Direct Seller is too vague and did not clearly answer the question. If each of the three USB ports can provide 2.4a all at the same time then this unit provides 36 watts of output. I've yet to find any unit like this that puts out that much power, so I suspect the 2.4 amps they mention is the total for all three ports. So one port could provide 2.4 amps so long ass the other two ports were not being used.
