Question:	How much force is required to push down on the foot pedal? Can the positions be modified by Hand
Answer:	I use one leg and moderate pressure to place the casters in the down position. It would be no problem to reach down with my arm and engage the casters. It is a cam type of lever.
Question:	Has anyone left their bench up on the wheels long term? Worried they might bend and come to rest back down over time
Answer:	I leave mine on the wheels most of the time. Never had an issue.
Question:	If I mounted these to the inside of the legs on my workbench how much clearance would i need for the casters to be in the retracted position
Answer:	From the bottom of the mounting bracket six and seven eighths inches of clearance, a full seven inches to be fully retractable, this allows the pedal bracket to move freely. Add another 1.5 inches from the bottom of the bracket to the floor, per the instructions. I mounted mine on the inside and the panel bracket tends to move up against the support surface with some pressure. The paddle can be hard the get back down to engage the caster.

Answer:	Gary, I'm pretty sure you'll want something with a much larger wheel for rough pavement. These casters are tough little things and would probably hold up ok, but will NOT easily go over a bumpy surface.

Question:	wiil these work on a metal craftsman tablesaw stand with angled legs
Answer:	Well, you made me go out and check on my Craftsman universal stand. My stand has an angle 82.5 degrees from the floor. I checked the fit with one of the casters that I have not installed on anything yet. On my stand it will work just fine as there is room up and down for mounting. If you have 75 degrees or more of angle I would recommend making a wedge shim for mounting these. I hope this helps.
Question:	Can the kit be mounted on the inside of the legs? It will be out of the way and give max storage
Answer:	The closer you mount the lifts to the center of gravity of the table, the more unstable it becomes. The table is most stable when the lifts are mounted on the outside of the narrow dimension. IOW, a 24x60 table will benefit most from mounting the lifts on the 24" axis, giving it about 32" wide stance while on the wheels.
Question:	What size bolts will fit in the screw holes? I plan to mount the casters on metal legs
Answer:	Use size #10 (3/16 inch) to fit existing holes. I did't have these screws on hand so I drilled the holes oversize for 1/4 inch. 2 on top and 2 on the bottom.
Question:	What is the minimum amount of space needed above the bracket for the handle to swing enough for the wheel to be disengaged
Answer:	On mine, it rises about 3" above the top of the base plate when the leg is completely down. In that position, the lever is roughly at a 45 degree angle (ie, not straight up).

Question:	Can these be welded to a base
Answer:	Sure. I would just tack weld at the four corners. Take it easy with the heat so you don’t melt the grease out of the bearings. Might want to shield the tires from hot sparks.
Question:	Are they tough enough to be used on rough concrete sidewalks without being damaged or ripped
Answer:	I think so. It would depend on the over all amount of travel but the have a very smooth action and ate large enough to go over most bumps and small items well

Answer:	I have not had them on hardwood floors, but the material used in the actual wheel is one I am familiar with from experience and I have never experienced a problem with this type of synthetic wheel material marking on any surface in my past use.
Question:	Anyone who has built a woodworking table, how have the wheels held up over time
Answer:	Mine have been sitting on a huge woodworking table for about six months now and have held up fine. They are really smooth and the brakes work very well. I'd definitely recommend.

Question:	Some pictures show the lift plate as a straight plate, others show it wraps around the foot pedal. Which is currently supplied
Answer:	Guess I was half asleep on my previous answer. The plate that comes on the caster is flat in back and bends out on the sides to attach to the lift mechanism. You can order an additional plate that makes the casters detachable which does wrap around the caster plate on one side and is attached with a pin on the other side.
Question:	Are these non-marking on concrete floor
Answer:	The hard plastic does not come off and leave a black trace on the concrete floor,if that's what you're asking. I installed a few sets and one of them it's on a 500lbs workbench and still no issues
Question:	How well do they roll over debris on the floor
Answer:	That would depend on the quantity and size of the debris as well as the weight of what you want to mount atop the castors. I have two sets of these, they are very sturdy. I used these casters under a table saw housed in a base made with 2 sheets of 3/4" ply wood. I'm guessing the total weight would be in the region of 300 lbs. My floor is covered in "garage floor matting" from Costco. This is a tough rubber/plastic material with 3/32" ridges every 1/2". I can move the saw across the floor using quite a bit of force but it is not what I'd like to do on a daily basis.
Question:	When locked in the lift position, how far off the floor is the lifted item? In inched please
Answer:	Instructions show 1" between bottom of bracket and bottom of table leg, and then if you look hard enough, you find 3/4" lift in the onscreen text. Mine was different (do one and see if you get the same!): 2" distance from bracket bottom to leg bottom gives zero lift. I installed mine 1.75" and got 1/4" lift: perfect for me.

Question:	How high does it raise the table off the ground
Answer:	I installed the casters per the manufacturers recommendation. They raise the table legs 3/4" off the ground. More than enough to move the table around the shop.
Question:	With 400 lb table and wheels that can stand 100 lb/each. How do you lift it without braking them? do you need 4 persons to push them at the same time
Answer:	Hello. I have my four casters attached to a table weighing approximately 550 lbs with all my tools attached. It raises without issue by pushing down on the lever with my foot. If I had to guess, I am probably using 50 to 60 lbs of force on each foot when I raise the table. I have never tried to raise all four feet at once, but I guess if you had four people it could be done without issue. I simply walk around the table and lift each foot independently. I haven't had any issues with them. They work great.
Question:	Do these need heavy foot pressure to lift a 200 lb workbench or can I actuate them by reaching under the workbench and using my hand
Answer:	I believe that you'd be lifting roughly half the bench weight, something close to 100#. I had problems with a heavier bench because when you activate one caster, that entire end of the bench comes off the floor. Although rated for 400 lb, my 320# bench bent the caster mount plate on two sets because half the bench's weight was being put on the first caster activated. It perhaps would have worked if I could have linked two casters and spread the load, or if the caster mount plate were made of stronger steel. It helps everything out if you help with lifting the bench, even slightly, while activating the lever with your foot. That would be hard to do if you are activating with your hand.
Question:	How high from of the floor edge of the leg should the base plate be attached
Answer:	Please pay attention to this and you will have the best and level lifting and standing of your equipment, whatever it is. 1, On the end that you have the least weight on, place the caster in the raised position and raise the equipment you are installing them on until the caster in the raised position placed against the wall you are mounting it to and mark the base holes and drill the holes, I prefer bolts with nuts, this will make the equipment level when its raised, remember, this is 2 casters on the same side with the same mounting as I just outlined. 2. after you have the first casters mounted, lower the equipment to the ground and it will be standing on its own with the first casters raised, 3. On the opposite side ,lower the caster before you make this move , mount the casters with the wheels barely touching the floor,( be sure to leave the casters in the lowered height). after the casters are mounted on this end, leaving them lowered, go to the other side and raise the equipment. At this point, you should see that both sides are raised when you have only raised one end, you should see the opposite end that you didn't raise will be barely off the ground, this allows a smooth move but a little higher on one end than the other, but, you wont have to be afraid of the lowest side dropping down because its already down, but, you can raise it is you need too.

Answer:	Yes it will work perfectly on 2x4's I modified a work bench I had and attached the lift casters to the 2x3 legs that I made.

Answer:	Not sure about their Warranty, But Amazon stands behind everything they see. As for quick release, you simply lift up on the foot lever/lock, and it releases/unlocks the assembly, and the leg sits back on the floor. Great design and very simple to use.

Question:	Am I correct in assuming that the caster assembly can be removed from the mounting plate when raised...while the load is resting on the floor
Answer:	There is no need to back out screws holding the wheel assembly to the table leg. Simply lift the lever up with your foot and the wheel comes up and let's the table leg down to rest on the floor. To raise the table like the picture shows, just push the lever down and it locks in place.
Question:	Will these work on slightly angled outward legs
Answer:	I have them on legs that are 3 to 4 degree angle and had no issues. I think it would depend on how much of an angle. I have on a grill legs and works great. you could install a spacer on the top connection area that would lower the angle.

Answer:	I don’t think so but the metal is either highly treated or is chromed to prevent rust. These are pretty tough casters. I am happy with mine on a cart I keep in the garage.
