Answer:	Not far. The top bar has a flat hunk of plastic (an inch or so thick) that must make direct contact with the wall. The legs curve forward a bit, and they probably sit about a foot from the wall, I reckon.

Answer:	It would be fine either way. You can mount it on drywall or on exposed, unfinished walls. If you don't have finished walls, you might want to consider a large pegboard instead. It would fill up some wall space and may be nicer in the long run.

Answer:	I don't know what rack you're referring to. The bike sits with the back tire in a metal, "C" shaped, horizontal track, and the front of the bike is raised until it (the Bike) is vertical. The bike stays vertical with the help of an adjustable metal bar that supports the seat stem and a strap that keeps the front tire from moving. I do not have a basket. But, if I did, it would be no problem as long as it is on the front of the bike. A back basket would not work. I like the rack and the additional floor space it provides.

Answer:	Yes, you just need to make sure you have installed into a stud. If that is not optimal you could affix a piece of board to the wall (through two studs) and hang the rack anywhere on that board, this is what I did.

Answer:	Yes, using concrete screws anchors. You will need to drill into the wall using the appropriate drill and then put a contrete anchor into the hole to accept the screw. Not that complicated.

Answer:	When you don't need this clip, push the plastic mop holder from the down to up in order not to make it broken. Then follow below steps to tear off the adhesive surface, 1. Do not directly pull the adhesive surface to remove. 2. Gently tear off the adhesive surface edge from the wall slowly. 3. Long time not in use, please use a protective film to paste the surface so that it can be used next time. 4. Do not stick to wallpaper wall or painted or plaster or cement surface. Question:	How close to the wall can this stand be used? Okay to put it a few inches off the wall on support beam
Answer:	For your bike to be positioned straight, your handle bars are what dictate how closely the stand can be placed to your well. Mine is 9.5" inches from my wall to allow for that. I suppose if you turned the wheel out your could get closer but then you'd have to deal with the wheel sticking out and resting up against your wall.

Question:	I cant get the pulley released
Answer:	Hi,I attached mine to about a 5'-6' 2x4 first. I spread the 2 sets of pulleys about 18"-22" apart (although you could adjust it differently). I then straddled the set up between my 2x6 rafters. I have easily lifted about 50 lbs. They advertise (I think) a 100lb max. Good luck!Mike
Question:	Can this be used outside to hang under a deck? Will it rust
Answer:	I should think it would work with the bike not folded. The distance between the handlebars and the seat is the key and you can mount the two pulley assemblies to accommodate the size of the bike.
Question:	How long is the rope that comes with this
Answer:	Hi, I would not have any problem with that install them in a room. As long as the proper precautions are taken: the bike no longer rests on your bed, for example. Ideally locate in an area free of the room. Also be careful that putting the screws, they are firmly anchored in the ceiling (so you can support the weight of the bike).I use mine in the garage and parked my car almost under the bike, and I have not had any problems.I hope I could help.
Question:	How close to the ceiling could you get kayaks
Answer:	Approximate 11.5 to 12 inches.
