Answer:	Actual ladder height when fully extended is 14.5 feet. You must fully extend the ladder before lowering it over an edge, because the rungs must lock from the bottom up. Verify they are locked before using.

Question:	It states it gives the same reach as an 18ft ladder despite it's labeling as a 14.5ft ladder. How does that work
Answer:	Telesteps logic is that because the ladder is much closer to the structure than an A-frame ladder is, the 14.5 ladder has the same climbing height as a taller A-frame ladder. I don't argue with their logic but I do wish they would change the model numbers to better reflect ladder height. Thanks.

Answer:	AA batteries are required to operate the thermostat. The 'C' wire can be connected but the thermostat will not function without the batteries.
Question:	How much noise does the ladder make when climbing it? And extending and restracting as well
Answer:	The AA batteries are required. The thermostat cannot use a 'C' wire for power. There are 2 warnings for battery power, but instructions say to replace batteries yearly even without seeing warning. If changed quickly, you don't lose anything, but they say you don't lose programming-only date and time if slow like me!

Answer:	The space from the floor and the bottom of the lowest rung is 5-1/4" and the inside width between legs is 13" at the base.

Answer:	With all ladders, there are two measurements: Actual height and Climbing or Reach Height. The actual height is 12.5'. When you stand on the 3rd rung from the top, which is the highest rung authorized to stand on, a 5'6" person can reach 16'. This calculation is standard with all ladders.
Question:	How much does it really weigh? manufacturer says" Item Weight19.5 pounds" one reply says about 40 lbs
Answer:	I haven't weighed mine, but I buy bags of salt for my water softener at home that weigh 40 pounds and the ladder is definitely about half of that weight. I'd believe the manufacturer.

Answer:	The lowest rung measure 13 1/2 inches and top rung 15 inches.
Question:	Do all sections need to be extended or can you only open a portion to be able to use the ladder
Answer:	Hello there. All sections have to be extended. The latter is very light and if it work better, it's a great latter. Each ring of the latter has two plastic Pawls which allow it both to extend and lock as well as compress. Buy a ladder failed in three weeks. It was not unsafe, but did not retract completely because of those little things. Once that happens, you cannot repair this ladder on fortunately. It's very much suited my needs on a weekly basis.
Question:	I am 5'6 " and am using it to hang charts on walls. If the ceiling height is 12ft give or take, what size ladder would I need
Answer:	A 10 footer should work for you but it will leave you with having to reach a minimum of three feet if you needed to reach to the top of the wall at 12 feet. Probably more as you would extend the ladder to 10 feet, lean it against the wall, which drops the top of the ladder six to eight inches depending on the ladder tilt (to the wall), and the height of the ladder rung you decide to stand on--at least second down, better the third rung for safety and stability. If you have a ceiling mounted attic access or ever need to paint and cut in the top of the wall or ceiling a 10' ladder will be too short. A 12' attic access would require a 16' ladder (I don't believe the come in 15' lengths). I would buy a longer ladder. You do not need to extend a Telesteps all the way to use it. Also, a telescoping ladder is not necessarily "shakey" but it does flex, more if your weight exceeds 200+ pounds. The Telesteps ladder is a little more secure than others which might be why it costs more.

Answer:	It is made of excellent quality materials, and would seem to be able to withstand some weathering. However, I wouldn't leave it exposed indefinitely. As there are mechanical parts that will oxidize (rust) within the equipment. I would use a standard, or folding ladder for that purpose.

Question:	Are rungs comfortable to stand on for an extended period of time? Is the surface you stand on square at the edge or rounded
Answer:	Depends on your weight, foot size, type of shoes and if you are in decent physical shape. I'm 6'5", 230 lbs, size 14, and out of shape to be honest. So standing on ladder rungs for extended periods is not fun. But, this ladder is probably the most comfortable one to stand on that I have. The rings have a rectangular cross section. The edge of the rectangle is rounded. Those two features make it more comfortable than a round rung, but it's still not as good as the old wooden ladders that have rungs 6 inches deep. The beauty of this ladder is it's portability, light weight and strength. It's marvelous.
Question:	What is the warranty for this ladder
Answer:	Not exactly sure, however, I have used that ladder for commercial window cleaning for over 5 years and is has performed well. I have had absolutely no trouble with the ladder. I hope that helps.

By standing on second step from top for safety reasons would be about 5 feet, but I stood on top step to install my backup camera, which was very unstable. So the only good thing about the ladder is it's weight and small storage area. It would be also good for washing and waxing your camper, if you are on level ground.

Answer:	I haven't used it as an extension ladder and I don't believe the bar across the bottom pivots, but I have found it to be steady and sturdy for my needs.

Answer:	i don't know, I haven't had a need to use it in stairs. I would be hesitant to try since it is collapsible.

Question:	what's the minimum installation opening? What's the max range, is 10 foot
Answer:	We installed the mini in an attic access that had an 8' wall height. It wasn't quite long enough for our application because the attachment point for the ladder has to be above the ceiling in the access hole. Not sure what we are going to use because the maxi is to wide but it would be long enough.

Answer:	Remember this a heavy ladder that is quite heavy that has stackable steps that would not be safe to attached as pull down ladder. So I would not recommend this type of ladder for any attachment.

Question:	does this need a separate frame in order to install this
Answer:	I don't know where the ladder is made. I looked all over my ladder and it does not say. I looked on the Wolfwise web site and it doesn't say either. I can tall you this. I'm very impressed with this ladder. It weighs about 25 lbs and It's very strong, I didn't expect it to be as rigid as it is. The bottom tubes are about 2 3/4" diameter. I weigh over 200 lbs and with the ladder fully extended there is very little give or flexing as I go up and down, far less than with an aluminum extension ladder. When letting the ladder down there is a soft drop feature as each section collapses so there is little chance you would get your finger smashed. You won't go wrong with this ladder.

Answer:	Hello, it is recommended that the ladder is at an angle of 60-75 degrees with the ground when using.
