Answer:	As long as you have rails to use the c clamps on you should be good to go. I wouldn't recommend on an older one with the sloping rails. There isn't a vertical adjustment.

Answer:	Unless you have a slanted bed (i.e. some hondas, etc..) or a factory installed bed rail system, these should work. The height is non adjustable but the width is adjustable. It uses 8 C-clamps with a bolt system that slips over and under the rail to secure the mounts. You can bolt them to the rail too but I like to remove mine when I am not using them.

Answer:	I can't really answer this question, other than I know the stairs come in two different sizes, the 3-step and the 4-step. I have one of each. Our aging cat seems to have no problem with either. In fact she doesn't even use the bottom step on the 4 high steps. She jumps down from the second step up. I know dogs tend to be a little less agile than cats. I would say for a dog that has really short legs or can't 'step up' much or at all, something of a ramp might work better..or build your own...?? Sorry, that's the best I can do.

Answer:	Ones I received were unlined - and note the residual tanning chemicals WILL stain socks, and the outside of pants legs/cuffs if you tuck them in. The dye on the outside has no coating on it - is just like unbuffed shoe polish, so unless you buff them and put on a silicone sealer like Sno Seal there will be color ruboff onto the inside of pant legs and bottom of cuffs worn over the outside of the boot. Note my previous comment about the construction. I sent these back because the seam between the uppers and lowers fell at the ankle bone, so when the boot flexed (and the seam flexed inward) as you walked, it ground into the achilles tendon and the ankle bone, causing blisters in only a trial walk up and down the hall, even through normal boot socks. Appeared well made and fit well, but that was a deal killer for me. The boots these were to be a replacement for had the seam well down below the ankle bone so avoided that problem. My recommendation on harness boots, based on a couple of experiences now - instead of Amazon, go to your local biker or western wear shop and try boots on to get a good fit for you, despite the $50 or so higher price compared to Amazon. Harness boots are great (my current old Sears pair is being retired after about 35 years and several resolings, because the uppers finally were wearing through) - but if they don't fit right they are great blister makers.
