Answer:	Don't know the actual weight, I am sure the spec's show it somewhere. It feels heavy when lifted or adjusted, and as previously noted the weight can create a bit of an imbalance when used as a extension ladder. It is however, very stable in use.

Answer:	If the ladder has "D" steps I would think it would fit.

Answer:	An important clarification... It only fits on my extension ladder (Xtend and Climb) on the very top pair of rungs. This is because the upper mounting bracket is 12.5" wide and on on my ladder all rungs below the top one have the buttons to collapse that section and the stabilizer's upper mount won't fit those rungs because of those buttons. This is a problem for me as to use my ladder with my roof I need the stabilizer to mount a few rungs down and it will not.

Answer:	When my ladder arrived, it wasn't in a box or a covering of any kind. The ladder appears to be brand new. I guess the seller feels this is the best way to ship them. Answer:	It is 12 ft and it does not fold. The upper part lowers down onto the lower section. It is a very sturdy ladder and works well if you have to get to a tall roof or on the upper half of a two story. It is heavy but very stable. We like it and find it much more stable and sturdy than our old aluminum ladder.

Answer:	I am not sure I only weigh 150 and it holds me just fine probably 200 or more .

Answer:	The manufacturer does not advise it. There are not secure steps to stand on on both sides in a frame mode to my mind. . The capacity of the ladder is 350 pounds. THE EXTENDABLE PORTION DOES NOT LOOK SUITABLE FOR standing on but it is used for that when it is used in its extended form for ascent when the ladder is used as a leaning ladder. And, the ladder I received from Amazon was defective. I bought a version of it at Lowe’s I am happy with. It looks like is one man at a time ladder.

Answer:	That depends upon what you mean. Set up as a step ladder, it’s no bigger than a regular 6 foot step ladder. Having said that, I regularly use a 6 footer to do work on 10’ ceilings but I’m 6’1”. Now if your talking about using it in the extended position as a straight ladder... then the answer would still be yes, but, of course it now can only be used as a leaning ladder. If you need a taller stepladder version... they make an 8’ version as well. Hope this helps.

Answer:	No, it's not made in the USA. It is made in Mexico. However, it is very sturdy. My only complaint is that there are only two usable steps which is only about 18" off the ground. If you need something higher, then you need to get the next sized ladder.

Answer:	no. On my ladder, the back side braces are vertical pieces of aluminum. Strong but you could not stand on them. It was not designed to go up both sides.

Answer:	Yes it came preassembled.
Question:	What is the height from the top step to the ground when the ladder is open for the 6 ft, 7 ft and 8 ft? How is this shipped? Is it boxed
Answer:	I have not put the tape measure to it, but my 8 foot ladder appears to have the top of it right about at 8 feet when it is open, maybe a couple inches shorter. I have used it for filter replacement on a 10 foot ceiling and work on leveling a ceiling fan that is 9 feet up without problem. Mine was shipped via FedEx in a very long flat box. The box took a beating, but the ladder was intact.
Question:	Is this ladder 6 feet from ground to top step or is it 6 feet ground to top hand grip
Answer:	The ladder itself is 72", but when opened is shorter. The top of the ladder is 68" from the ground, the top step is 57". It's a great, lightweight ladder.
Question:	Can you stand on the top shelf of the 8ft fiberglass ladder
Answer:	We got the 4 ft. ladder not the 8 ft. But you are NEVER supposed to stand on the top of ANY ladder for safety reasons!!!!!

Answer:	I was sent a new ladder in Louisville factory carton, unopened. I use the tool holders more than the magnetic tray. I'm happy with the ladder features. I also use higher ladders but 5 feet is OK for inside the house.
Question:	How high is the highest "stepable: step? On the 5-ft ladder
Answer:	The top part is for the cups and tools, so it is for with holes. You can not stand on top part. Also, it is unreturnable, since when I found I could not use and tried to return, UPS and Fed Ex would charge more than $100. I paid about $60 for the ladder and about $10 for the shipping, so I still keep it although I would never use it.

Answer:	I haven't weighed mine but it sure seems a lot heavier than ten pounds. I'd guess 25 or 30 but that could be off by several pounds.

Question:	Will the 5' ladder work for changing track lights on a 9' ceiling? I need the smallest possible since storage in my apt is limited
Answer:	The five footer is sweet. Saves space but handles the weight. Yeah, working track lights even on a 9' ceiling should work. Try to stand no higher than the second step from top. I use it on the electrical crew and the other guys have 4 footers and often want mine to give that extra height without the weight of a 6 footer. Good luck. Be safe.

Answer:	I do not have a 10-foot ladder. Only have two 6-foot and one 8-foot version. All have 3-inch steps. Love all of them.
