Answer:	I unfortunately bought three of these units. The light is extremely bright and glaring. Totally unacceptable! I have ordered light filters that are said to be able to dim the light as well as lower the light temperature from 3000K down to somewhere near an acceptable 2700K. Of course, I’m shelling out more money for a fix that should have been caught in the product design process.

There are pens for sale on Amazon for old Fischer Space refills. They are widely used in pens that claim to write underwater and in rain storms. That's where to look. Hope that helps.

Answer:	It appears to my eye to be just a bit brighter but lighting impacts in my kitchen have more effect on the perception than the actual finish. It is so close to my LG fridge that you would not, nor has anyone, noticed a difference.

Answer:	The body of the hood only vents from the top, but you could easily pot a 90 degree 6" round elbow in the chimney if you have room above the hood. Be aware that each elbow or bend in the duct will significantly reduce the allowed total length though.
Question:	What size should I frame the hole for this fan
Answer:	As a former Chief Engineer for the USN I became of DBs and the impact on hearing. We have had this Unit for over a month and even and 900 CFM the DB level is reasonable. At the lower settings, 1-4 it is quiet and below the average for a comparable Unit. I do recommend it. By the way, in a closed environment (Central Air) I recommend cracking a window kitchen to allow the unit to remove air from the kitchen.

Answer:	The 510 is a room to room fan. It is not for exhausting to the outside. It is for indoor use only. You would need to install some kind of exhaust fan. Answer:	You should check your local building codes. Generally it is not permissible to vent a bathroom exhaust fan into another interior space, even a void space (like an attic, or between the walls.) This is especially true if you have a tub or shower in the bathroom.
Question:	My wall is 11.5 thick. Can i install it
Answer:	On high it's not real quiet but if it's the only thing on in the room you can hear it. If you turn it down it makes almost no noise but it won't push much air at that level. I wouldn't buy this product again for what I was trying to do. I was trying to heat/cool and adjacent 12 x 12 room and there just isn't enough volume to be that effective. Noise wise its like a small bathroom fan I suppose.

Answer:	I do not want to give you unhelpful info. I know that a new Nutone unit in its box, unopened, that I purchased here- same unit- says '695' on the box. The dimensions shown with this product are the replacement part dimensions. Mine was a drop-in fit for the original Nutone. The only variable was the CFM rating on similar-sized units.

Answer:	I use this exhaust fan for 300 Sq. Ft. room and it works great. As far how many Cubic Ft. it's designed for, I would recommend you direct the question directly to the manufacturer. But, if this helps at all, I tried a conversion calculator and found it to be about just over 11 Cubic Feet. Hope this helps. Otherwise, contact the manufacturer for more accurate answer(s).
