Answer:	The wattage is 55W. The Airflow at the Quiet setting 9fps; Low setting is 15 fps; Medium setting is 18 fps; and High setting is 21 fps.Hope this helps!
Question:	What size bathroom will it heat and vent well
Answer:	The battery compartment will not open and I will return it for this reason only!! very frustrating

Answer:	Yes it tilts down at its lowest tilt, but only very slightly and not enough for my needs. I put mine on top of a kitchen cabinet across the room from the oven and the down tilt was not pointing down enough to reach the oven area. Would have been helpful if the manufacturer had made more of a downward tilt and less of a straight up tilt, which actually starts tilting downward on the back side before it oscillates back downward.

Question:	what is the warranty
Answer:	I believe it is 1 year! As a contractor I have installed at least 30 Broan light-fan-heat units in the last 5 years with no callbacks or warranty problems!
Question:	Does this fan use a 12/2, or a 12/3 wire. Does it come with the light switch
Answer:	I used the existing 14/2 for the lights and a new 12/2 circuit for the heat. This does not come with a switch, I used a stacked switch for the vent and heat. This fan definitely warmed up the bathroom.
Question:	does this require a Vent thru the roof. isn't it bad to have air vented into your attic space
Answer:	It's generally against code to obstruct existing attic vents for use with a bathroom exhaust duct. It's also against code to vent into the attic space (due to mold risk). This is, however, a very common code violation. I bought a new home last year and out of a 61-page report. in which incorrect venting for the dryer and the microwave we flagged, the inspector didn't even mention that the bathrooms were venting into the attic!
Question:	What size cutout is needed
Answer:	My fan measures 8 3/4" x 14 7/8". This is what I used for roughing it in and it fits like a glove. Not an OJ glove but a tight fitting glove.

Question:	how much electricity does it cost to run
Answer:	I installed this replacement approximately 10 years ago. I remember that I had a NuTone 695 but I do not remember the cfm. The unit has worked fine all these years although it is somewhat noisy.
Question:	Is the heater energy efficient and does it heat well enough to tell a difference
Answer:	If you buy this replacement model C350BN. The motor and plate come attached together. On my old unit there was one or two screws that held the old plate/motor assembly into the ductwork portion. Remove the screw(s). I still had problems getting it out because when they plastered the ceiling, they plastered slightly over the plate. I had to break that plaster away to get it to drop out of the ceiling.
Question:	Can you use a regular light bulb in this instead of the 120W
Answer:	Just unplug from the built in receptacle. May be a sheet metal screw to take out. Pull that end down, opposite end has tabs. take out and reverse the order to install the new motor. No need to replace the can assuming it's still OK.
Question:	How many sq feet can this effectively hear
Answer:	Note that Nutone models have sub-models that take different parts. One must be sure of the full model designation, and the parts that will work with that model This (C350BN) replacement assembly works with the 8" X 7-1/4" housing version of the 696N, and not with the 7-1/2" X 7-1/4" Version. The 696-R02 B Model is the smaller size, and so this replacement assembly will not work. One has to use the 690NT (also called just 690) which has both adapter plates, a new grill, the motor and the fan. Answer:	We would not recommend this in a suspended ceiling. THank you.
Question:	I’m wanting to replace the 45 year old version of this one. Are the dimensions and wiring still the same
Answer:	Actually, I purchased this exhaust fan to replace one that was about 25 or 30 years old. You should find that the canister that is currently in your ceiling does not have to be removed. Once I removed the guts of the old fan I was able to put the new fan with the heating element and lights into the housing that was still in the ceiling. It has been working perfectly since I installed it.
Question:	Can you have the heat and the fan on at the same time
Answer:	Yes but the fan blows down when you have the heat on then you put the fan on which blows out. What a waste.
Question:	I presently have a broan 741sn in my bath. wife wants heat. are there any problems in swapping in a nutone 9093wh? will it swap out easily
Answer:	It will not swap out easily. The 741SN has a housing dimension of 8.25" x 8" x 5.75". The 9093WH has a much larger housing. It is 13.25" diameter x 7.5" height. You would need to enlarge the hole in the ceiling as well as needing more clearance in the attic.

Question:	Having an issue with the heat lamp not lighting up. Could it be the thermostat? All wiring appears fine
Answer:	This heater has multiple heater coils so you can use some or all of them. The more coils you jumper this for, the higher the wattage load up to 5000w. This is a 240 VAC space heater and does not need a white neutral wire at all (10/2 for example) It most certainly does need a green ground wire which is included in romex cables. To use the full 5000w at 240 VAC, you will draw over 20.8 amps of current. You are required, by code, to not load a breaker over 80% of it's rated value. So, here is the calculation you need to respect: 20.8 Amp / 80% = 26 amp minimum. Thus, you will need a 240V Dual-Pole 30 AMP breaker and at least 10 gauge THHN wire.
Question:	What is the difference between this model and the 9417dn? my the light portion of my 9417dn died, so this would be a swap out
Answer:	Yes it will work. There are instrructiions with the unit. I even asked the local Electrial Supply Company. They said, "no problem." To purchase a wall mount and wire was (as I remembered) pretty incidental, under $50 including wire, junction box, thermostat. But I personally would have someone familair with electrical wiring to oversee or even do it for me.....It was just easier to use the integrated thermostat for my purposes, than run wire to where it was easy to adjust when entering the shop. Heck, it's only 7-8 steps further, and I leave it alone 75% of the time anyhow. Besides, I can always wire it later when I get extra cash for that budget....

Answer:	The wattage is the amount of heat produced by the unit. So 2500 watts is low heat and 5000 watts is twice the heat produced at 2500 watts and it would be high heat. The higher the wattage, the more area you can heat. When the blower comes on you can hear it but it is not loud.

To determine CFM requirements, first determine the size of your room. Measure and multiply the length, width and ceiling height of your room to determine cubic footage. Select a bath fan with at least 70 CFM. Example 2: Bathroom with 9' ceiling: 10' wide x 9' long x 9' high x .13 = 105. Select a bath fan with at least 110 CFM.
