Think about adding a 45 degree t to your pipe and using this fane to draw cold air from outside and forcing it upwards in the pipe. You don't waste warm air and you get a really stoked fire.

Answer:	You can hook up a speed control but it does not work very good and was not designed for one. When you start cutting down the power, the fan struggles and eventually stops leaving a loud humming or buzzing sound which does not sound good for the fan and may pose a fire hazard. If you want a variable controlled fan, just buy a fan that has variable control. I made the mistake of buying variable control with this fan. I ended up buying another fan that I could use this variable control on and it is more powerful and much quieter.

Again the humidity of outside air is important. Insulation is also important.

Answer:	On first run when dishwasher is new, use without detergent. After that use dw normally (w/ dishes, detergent and rinse agent) and add salt as needed.

Answer:	The smaller basket knobs are placed through the larger portion insert hole, left side. Slide basket to the right, should align with the larger basket. To detach, slide small basket to the left. Half knobs are on top and bottom so you need to align all 4 knobs.

Answer:	I have the 8" -- it is NOT quiet at all. 75dBA at a meter when set full speed; and still 68dBA when set full minimum speed. Nowhere close to the 40dBA spec they claim.

Answer:	I just tried it because of your question, yes it does, but I think you're asking about a timer situation, I would say that you shouldn't bother with a timer, the reason to get this fan over others is the programmability, this thing self adjusts its own speed based on the high/low temp and the high/low humidity that you enter, the power used to run it is very small.

Answer:	If all of you that have problems with these would read the instructions you can calibrate both temp and humidity as well as fix any problem with your fan not working it’s probably not turned on or is in the wrong setting check the instructions before blaming the unit these things are great in my opinion
