Answer: Here is a video I uploaded onto youtube. The compressor is mounted to a piece of 3/4" partical board (I still need to carpet it), which is mounted to some 1"x1"x1/8" angle steel, which I sandwich clamped onto my Garvin Wilderness interior rack in my 2015 Xterra which the legs were wrapped with a few wraps of "F4" or "self fusing tape" as found here on Amazon. The prevents damaging the finish on the legs, and provides another layer of vibration and noise dampening. Answer: I have used my for over a year and it has not had one drop of oil added -- as there is no place to add oil
Question: Is the heat or wattage adjustable on this heater
Answer: I am not sure at this point. There is a sticker over one of the screws so you can not open it up without voiding the warranty and as it is working very well at the time I have no need to open the unit. I have a Dico and Mrod. also a .45l tank and it fills them a lot faster then a hand pump. It will fill the tank to just short of 30 mpa (4350 psi) which will allow me to carry with me one complete refill from 2000 to 3000 in the mrod and then one 2500 to 3000. That is 6 to 7 mags for the 25 cal mrod. When it breaks I will then see if I am still in warranty or will then go looking for parts -- but at the price point if it last for one or two years I and pick up a new one and still be ahead of the game. when look at the price for the other 12 volt pump. and I do not have to lube it.
Question: Do you install the flush mount wall can in between the studs first and then install the heater assembly into it. Is this necessary
Answer: I've used mine for a bit, airing a ati nova liberty 22 and hatsan flashpup 22. Look into line filters for any pcp compressor. I usually refill the nova liberty at 3000 psi but have let it go down to 1700+ psi before refilling, so far no complaints. I dont fill past 4000 psi to save wear and tear on my rifle. Purchase the warranty, then put it to work.

Question: does this unit require an install box and is that included? thx
Answer: I noted someone below stating they got the largest one and they can only run one water source at a time. My guess is they installed it wrong by not getting the electric hooked up right, or maybe the unit was just defective, or they live in Alaska. I went under size with an Eco 27 a few years ago because that’s all my electric panel could handle. We have zero issues in the summer. During winter months we can only run one shower at a time and have to slowly fill a tub (maybe 3/4 fill speed). To save as much money as I am on electric bill and have unlimited shower lengths (only 1 person at a time mid-Dec to mid-March) is totally worth it. On here today because I’m thinking of upping my panel size so was thinking of going with a larger one now. Regardless, CCRC’s experience with the largest unit not working is nothing like the experience I’ve had, and again I intentionally undersized mine for the house. The website has a clear chart to explain size you need based on number of water fixtures in your home and ground water temperature.
Question: Does the thermostat have full OFF position, or is Low the lowest setting
Answer: In the lower states it can, but in the northern states, multiple simultaneous users, it will be overloaded. If you can afford a 3,700 square foot home, then you can place a unit in each appropriate demand zone and be very glad you did. I love mine, live in KY, get great supply when the water is above 60 degrees, and then it slows the flow as the temperature drops. I have dishwasher, washing machine, garden tube, 2 showers, 3 sinks and 4 people. It is better than great in the summer, okay spring and fall, and we are conservative in the winter.
Question: Will this fit flush with a wall that has a 2 by 4 stud? The Fahrenheat wall heaters don't seem to
Answer: The instantaneous power consumption while the hot water is running is quite high (up to 18kW or 27kW depending on which model you’re looking at on this page). However, when no hot water is being used, the power consumption is 0 (or a minuscule amount to run an LED light or something). The total power consumption over the course of several days or longer should be much lower than a tank heater but the short term power usage while the heater is making hot water will be much higher than a tank heater. It’s just that the unit sits idle most of the time while a tank heater will use power fairly frequently even when no hot water is needed as the water in the tank cools off over time and needs to be re-heater fairly constantly
