| Answer: | There are no pre-drilled holes on the shutters. However, the screws are intended to be drilled thru the shutters on all sides to secure the shutter tightly to the house. You might be able to use industrial strength glue that works on plastic and brick in lieu of screws |

| Answer: | We didn't use the plastic fasteners to begin with. Did not think the plastic fasteners would hold. We drilled into the brick with a masonry drill bit and hammer drill. Drilled the hole size to fit a plastic insert that is hammered into the brick. Then used the appropriate size metal screw to attach the shutters. |

Plus, decorative shutters typically sit an inch away from the surface of the house, while functional shutters will sit 2-3 inches away due to the clip that holds them away from the house. The bolts that screw into the house would stick out too far for decorative shutters. |
