1. Prepare Surface Edge:
Fill any large holes, sand rough spots, remove sawdust, cut edging ½" longer than surface to be covered.
2. Apply Edging:
Preheat iron on “cotton” setting, position edging, slowly press iron over edging, check to see if glue is melting. Note: Use kraft paper or aluminum foil to protect iron bottom.
3. Bonding:
While still hot, press veneer down firmly with wood block or roller, If there is a mistake, simply reheat and reapply.
4. Trim Edge:
Allow edging to cool completely, trim any excess with an edge trimmer, a razor blade or file, sand smooth and finish as desired.

| Answer: | It would probably stick to a lightly painted or primed surface. But, the adhesion will only be as strong as the paint to which it is applied. Thick coats of paint will likely melt when the heat is applied and my effect its long term adhesion . |

| Answer: | I use scissors to cut off the length that I need. Once it is ironed on, I trim it using and exact-o knife. If the amount to be trimmed is less than 1/8th of an inch, I use sandpaper (usually 120 grit) wrapped around a small block of wood about 3/4 inch thick and about 3x5 inches or whatever is comfortable for my hand. I then sand the edge away using a downward diagonal stroke that does not push into the band but sands only the protruding part of the band. My stroke begins on the protruding part of the band and gently severs the extra part away from the part of the band that is to remain on the finished edge. |

| Answer: | It is for interior surfaces only. |

| Answer: | I would say no but I’m not 100% positive as I used it on wood with and a household iron to heat it and activate the glue, so I would have to imagine the plastic would melt.. maybe cement will Work sorry couldn’t answer it more complete |
