Answer: | I have painted a wall after using different I just had to wait for wall to be dry completely. |
Question: | Does DIF wallpaper removal expire |
Answer: | No. It won't expire and will work as long as you don't mix it with water and then store it. |
Question: | Will this work for just removing adhesive?-old wallpaper peels right off but glue still there |
Answer: | I had the same problem. This Dif I think is good but leaves the glue on the wall. I have used it to remove old foil wallpaper and it worked without leaving glue. Maybe it depends on the kind of glue originally used. This Dif Concentrate is the only Dif that works. Don't try the Dif's found in stores. They don't work |
Question: | Do you still wet your prepasted wallpaper? Never used this before |
Answer: | No. There is no need to set the wallpaper. Just paste this and it works well. |
Question: | Can this be used for paper mache |
Answer: | I'm sure it can be used for that as well. It is starch based so it may work. I used it for some bedroom wallpaper and it worked great. |
Question: | can I use this on rubber |
Answer: | It should be able to work provided it is not used for thick or heavy rubber. Generally for commercial wallcoverings up to 34 oz. |
Question: | will it work on old cheese cloth backed wall paper |
Answer: | Yes. As long as the wallpaper isn't old and brittle. Aside from a few modern additives it's the same paper-hanger paste. It works well, has very good adhesion, doesn't dry too fast (so the wallpaper can be "arranged/placed"). |

Tips to Perfect Wallcover Hanging
Make sure surface is clean, dry, free of mold, mildew and any other residue. Remove old or loose wallcoverings, damaged wallboard or plaster, and repair any damaged surfaces.
Prime the Surface
Priming is always recommended to ensure proper performance. Prime surface with wallcovering primer such as Shieldz. Note: New plaster must age at least 90 days before hanging wallcovering.
Apply Adhesive
Use when temperature is between 50-100°F. Apply an even coat using a roller, brush or pasting machine to back of wallcovering. Make sure sufficient adhesive is on the edges, and avoid contact with the front surface of the wallcovering. Remove excess adhesive on or around the wallcovering immediately with clean water.

User questions & answers
Question: | Can I use this for wallpaper? 8x10 wall |
Answer: | Yes clay can be used to make sculptures like floral clay sculpture for Christmas 🎄. You can dye the clay different colors to get an antique look. |
Question: | Could someone pleasecexplain to me how to open and use this |
Answer: | Heat is not your problem, adhesion IS. Being a mobile home ,I am assuming that the existing surface is vinyl wallcovering affixed to the wall material. Although clay based adhesive is the strongest there is, it will fall off the wall when it dries. My wife and I had a wallpaper business for 32 years. We would prime with Roman brand R-35 (watered down Elmer's glue), available at sherwin. Any other primer will work, Zinzer, kilz' etc. The primer will stick to the surface, the paste will stick to the primer |
