Answer:	Yes, all of your existing openers will still work. What this does is allows you to see if your garage door is open or closed no matter where you are (at work, on vacation, anywhere where your phone can connect to the internet), and it allows you to open or close it from anywhere from the app. You can also set alerts so that you get notified when somebody leaves it open and you can schedule it to close at specific times. So it is MUCH more than just a remote control in your car or on your sun visor.

Question:	Will this integrate with a Samsung Smart Things hub
Answer:	It is really shame that Chamberlain myQ decided to NOT support SmartThings. After their announcement to support it (which was if I remember 2015 or 2016), I actually switched all of the garage openers to be myQ compatible... which ended in major disappointment because they never got out the integration. There was a manual integration that a SmartThings user did, but even this one is now defunct.
Question:	Why does chamberlain charge a fee when the other devices are free
Answer:	This is a shame and Chamberlain should be embarrassed. It's pathetic. I would rather pay $10-20 more to never pay a subscription fee as long as I own the device. Aonthly or annual fee is just sickening and it's the singular reason why I have not purchased this product. Everything I own is Chamberlain. By including a fee, they have completely ALIENATED A LOYAL CUSTOMER. Am I also understanding this correctly that Alexa does not have a subscription fee for integration?

Answer:	This is not a hub. This is an additional sensor for the hub. By itself this does noting useful. You need to get the hub first. The hub comes with one of these. You only need to buy this if you are controlling a second door with the hub.

Answer:	Like Lukie627, I also just got this last month and am getting a low battery alert. There's no way I've opened and closed my garage door 300 times let alone 3000 in the past month.

Answer:	This sounds like a great feature, but there is a downside. I had a similar type of device installed on my old door openers a couple years ago (it would automatically lower them after a preset time). But it failed and it kept running the garage doors up and down. I wasn't at home, the openers kept running until they smoked, my spouse panicked and called the fire department.I said "you could have just turned the switch off". Anyway, be careful with a feature like this, think of the failure modes.

Answer:	You can create your own Alarms. I have 2 I set up, that if the door is open for longer then 5 minutes it'll notify me, and again if it's open for longer then 10 minutes, it'll notify me again.I got it because my Dad who lives at my house would take off and forget to close the garage door. I tried other things and it didn't work. So I got this. So it notify's me and him when the door opens and closes and if it's left open for longer then 5 minutes and 10 minutes.Just in case I get a alarm that it's left open, I actually got a cheap $40 wifi camera. Connect it to wifi and mounted it up and plugged in power. So I can log in on my iPhone and see what's going on LIVE. If I see his truck in the driveway I know he's there and working on something. If the truck was not there, I can then close it myself no matter where I am. So far he hasn't left it open since I for this setup.It would be nice for some IFTTT features. Along with Homekit support. People have been asking for these things for the last couple years. So if you buy this system in the hopes of that, maybe look elsewhere. If it;s not as important to do, maybe it would be nice to have, but not a big deal, then this system works pretty well. It's not 100% perfect. For example, one day on the way to work a message popped up saying I left the Garage door open, so I went into the App to close the door and it locked up on the network and I couldn't get a connection. So I had no idea if the door was open or close?!? This was before I had the camera. So I went all the back back home to double check that it was actually closes. It was but the app just wasn't working. Something on their Network end.

Answer:	If there is a wall between each opener, you will need a HUB for each door. if there is no wall between each opener, you just need an additional door sensor.

Question:	Why does the hub need to be 6 feet off the ground? Our unit didn’t work on the wall and had to move it to the ceiling
Answer:	I wasn't able to reach the ceiling in my very high garage, so I put the hub on the wall about 10 feet in the air and it works fine. I am guessing that it needs to be near the level of the door sensor to work. It doesn't actually have to be on the ceiling, but it does need to be very high on the wall.
Question:	Does this work with a Genie 2028? I have the older style black one but it doesn’t work with our door opener. Wondering if this one will

Answer:	The sensor seems to work with most brands. I recall seeing lift master in the documentation. It really just works like a normal remote. You just program the code and it works.
