You have to connect to the garage door opener via wifi on your phone and then go to the web address stated in the instructions (can't remember off hand). From there it was pretty simple. Took me a while to figure it out. I just hadn't read far enough.

After their announcement to support it (which was if I remember 2015 or 2016), I actually switched all of the garage openers to be myQ compatible... which ended in major disappointment because they never got out the integration. There was a manual integration that a SmartThings user did, but even this one is now defunct.

The MyQ GDO or MyQ hub sends and receives info to and from the MyQ app via WiFi, then shares the info with the switch via the MyQ band. The switch does not work on WiFi as a stand alone device.

Answer:	MarkTGT, using the schedule function in the app, the WSLCEV can be set to turn off at certain times but not after being on for a certain time frame. This device does not have a motion sensor.

Answer:	I typically found the answer to be the sensors on both sides of your garage door, which was an indication that either the sensors were not lined up correctly to see each other, or there was an obstruction in the sensors path. If it were a short...the door opener would not blink at all.

Answer:	It's probably due to the power demand of the light inside it. I'm sure it's very low power consumption, but by the time you have run the tiny wires with low voltage and more than one lighted switch on the circuit, you'll probably be pulling more power from the circuit board of the actual unit mounted overhead. That's my vaguely educated guess. But I have 2 on my door openers anyway - one at each exit to the garage.

Answer:	I purchased a roll of this sealer. It can be cut to fit. The mistake I made was to attach it to the first door, all away across, then cut it. When I attached the remainder to the second I came up six inches short.I should have cut it in half, then attach each piece to both ends of each door stretch it to fit. Then secure with nails or staples every foot or so along the bottom of the door Repeat on the second doo. Don't get to close to the edges, it will get hung up in the molding!Hope that helpscd
