If while on the airplane you are able to put your wallet (with medication) in a refrigerator, this will prolong the cooling time (ie thawing meat in the fridge takes longer than if it's on the counter, same concept). If the airplane has a freezer and they allow it, you can put your wallet (without medication) in the freezer and your medication in the refrigerator (until close to landing when you put your medication back in your wallet that should now frozen or close to it).
