If you are doing home projects I would get the 3M 60923 or the 60926, both of these cartridges have a built in P100 particulate filter. Vapor cartridges will not protect you from smoke or carbon monoxide, I would also advise that you stay away from ammonia to.

Answer:	hello manderson!I wouldn't say tons of bleed, and isolation is there. But obviously at louder volumes the headphones will leak, and they aren't noise-cancelling or anything. For tracking drums I'm going to assume you'll be monitoring with these (correct me if I'm wrong)? If so I wouldn't recommend them (trust me, I'm a drummer too), instead I'd recommend the Shure SE215 IEMs. But for anything else like listening to music and mixing these are a no-brainer.I hope this helps!

Using 3M Particulate Filters

Place your thumbs onto the center portion of the filters, restricting airflow into the respirator tube of the filters. Be careful not to disturb the position of the respirator. Inhale gently. Answer:	The respirator consists of two pieces - the mask itself and the bands that hold it in place on your head - plus the replaceable filters of course (ordered separately). You don't need to take apart the 2 pieces for cleaning, just take off the filters. I don't think it would be worthwhile to replace either piece of the respirator separately.
Question:	Does 3M filter fit? Note, merely indicating "filters are easily changed" does not answer my question
Answer:	The most common filter for dust is the HEPA filter, it is the P100. The chemical cartridges are specific to exposure. 3m has a page on their website titled "3m PPE Safety Solutions", this page will direct you to a matrix for specific exposure/cartridge matching. "Warning" before entry into an OSHA/NIOSH PEL or IDLH atmosphere, a fit test is suggested and I would say mandatory for personal safety. Certain atmospheres of use would mandate a full face piece or gas-proof goggles.
